Lol, yeah. Dunno. I told her the size and she it was HUGE! I dont mind wearing the big stuff, but I dont think wants to wear large watches like that. EVERY single other watch she owns has a 20mm face on them.
Pap, I'm pretty sure she will love the watch once the fad of bigger lady watches reaches Australia. Has she seen the movie "The Blind Side" with Sandra Bullock yet? If she does, she's going to want a big white watch like she wears in the movie. I bought my wife one of the white Michael Kors watches from Chris at VTC back in July and she loves it. Here is a pic of her with it on. It is large but she likes the size. She gets a lot of compliments from other women when she wears it. And I gotta give Chris & VTC some praise for their customer service. Very easy to buy from, quick shipping, good prices, etc. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Cheers lads, for all I know.............the trend has already started down here. Ill see what happens.
It looks like it hasn't been posted yet, but I'm a fan of Sonbol. They make watches for both men and women as well as unisex pieces. Located in LA with one of the main guys in Chicago. I actually met the guy in Vegas at SEMA and he was super cool, let me pick a watch out of his traveling collection. I like these because they have a presence. It's a big face, around 52", but the designs are very clean and creative. Most of the pieces are under a grand. Here are some pix http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs438.snc3/25214_1417881765666_1191288759_1217012_7050495_n.jpg My friend BeBe has a matching one. We have different colored bands though. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs051.snc3/13868_202390727305_523312305_4039159_642813_n.jpg Some of the watches. http://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs114.snc3/16136_176202942166_645987166_3327119_2794058_n.jpg Trying on a watch.

DAMN that auto is a nice watch. My wife caught me looking at it and said "you had better not!!!" Great price too!!!
Old quote but still How would you compare these Laco's to the ones of Stowa? I rather buy Stowa (just because of the name even though the name was bought buy ...) but I can't seem to find the stowa with the extra numbers in the middle like the pic shown above? If it's even possible to get a similar one. Although the watch isn't that expensive I'm really having doubts... I have seen too many of such watches lately worn by people who have absolutely no idea why they are so big or look like this. They just got them because it was cool to have big 50mm watches and the watches have lost some of their 'class' because of this. Edit: I know it sounds stupid but I rather not spend 490 euros on a watch that looks almost identical to a watch you can get for 10 euros. https://shop.laco.de/de/Fliegeruhr/Flieger-42-Typ-B-Handaufzug.html
The Sowa is a nicer watch, and that is reflected in the price (finishing, swiss movt, case construction). Laco makes a nice watch for the money. This piece is a Japanese Miyota (good movement) and the price reflects that. Not sure what the question is... Best, dsd
