Does anyone know the car or had dealings with the company selling her?

This was the first Ferrari imported into Japan to it's first owner for 41 years british captain John Malone.

Grigio Platinato MM16656 interior plastic and leather blu 3087.

 

This car, presently in Germany, was sold by Mike Sheehan a while back--you can see it under "Cars we Sold". Further, when I started looking for a 250 PF Coupe, this car was just sold by Fantasy Junction a month prior. Again, you can see it on their website under
"Cars sold". It was all single color exterior paint in both of the above.

Seems someone did some touch up on the paint, etc. recently. The car looks very nice in the photos today.

While on the 250 PF Coupes, maybe someone can help me. I have a 1958 Series 1----
S/N 1099 car with drum brakes. There are three toggle switches in front of the gear shift lever--under the dash. The one on the left is for the aux. fuel pump--while the one on the right is for the fog lights. What is the switch in the center for--I cannot seem to find anything that it does and there seems to be no wiring for it.

Ken you can take out that one on the middle ,no function.
That hole is for you wind-up mech of the mechanical 3 day clock,
it would come out there, with a small protection rubber in the dash.

I drove 1637GT at Fantasy Junction in 2008. It was a very nice car and ran fairly well. I remember its significant Japanese history, but the car didn't have many documents with it at the time.

The middle switch is for the overhead interior light.

Incidentally, in your photo, the clock and water temp gauges are reversed. If the clock was in its correct place; i.e., the left side, then the winding cable/knob would protrude from the hole directly beneath. As Cornelis said, there should be a rubber grommet in the hole as well.

According to some notes David McKay drove his Ferrari into the viaduct in Longford. Is this when it happened? Was the car destroyed?

1973GT,just been told it sits in an open shed near Melbourne and is in a terriable mess.

 

Does anyone have info on S/N 945 which is the 250 PF Coupe
that was made for Dr. E. Wax? There are photos of this in
the Pininfarina book---showing a couple of photos.

I was told that this car was in a small museum in France.

Any help or photos appreciated.
