Anyway, you need it at level 22 or something, and by then, 500.000 credits shouldn't be a problem to pay? It's not like the Nascar cars are 2.000.000 a piece. I'm still struggling with winning gold on the All Stars championship. Soon to be level 21 and get a chance to fight in the Like a Wind championship. The cars are getting so fast you have no room for error at the Nürburgring. If you're off the track for 3 seconds you've lost.
Did I get ridiculously lucky yesterday by winning a Bugatti Veyron 16.4 @ level 14 after winning the Gran Turismo Championship in the Professional series, or did everyone else get that as well? It's nice having a 1,185hp AWD vehicle @ lvl 15 and 16 I must say...
The prize cars are all the same, so everyone wins the same cars. Once you complete an entire series of races you are also awarded a random gift card for the highest level in that series. The random gift card is of course random.
I've been trying to find a used German touring car, that's what I've been saving for also the GTF1. As for the All Stars championship try the Mazda Furai if you won it already.
Yeah, I know. lol From what I've read, the Lexus IS F DTM wasn't made by Lexus. It was actually a reskined Opel Vectra DTM. Perhaps that is why it is allowed.
Were do I get the Furai? Heard it's a beast. If it's B-spec, bah, I gave it up. My driver is so freaking stupid it hurts. He spins off in pole position, and doesn't get back on the track until everyone's driven past!! I hate him. Level 11 on B-spec... Level 21 in A-spec any minute now Eric W; Regarding what I sent PM about. Still many days to go? I got a Toyota 7 Race Car today, I can send you one as a thank in return, in don't have it.
I never understood how that car made it into DTM. Its not german. Very cool car though. Actually maybe thats how. The organizers thought it was to cool to not have in the series.
I was going to send it to you last night but you hadn't yet approved my request to add me to your PS3. If you've already added me I'll try to send it tonight. I already have the Toyota 7 Race Car, so I do not need another one. I'm not looking for anything in exchange but gifts are always nice. One thing that I am looking for is the Jaguar XJ13 and the Ferrari F1 cars.
It's a great b-spec car too, as it has AWD, and the special ed drivers I have get caught out on some of the tracks with rwd cars quite badly
The Furai is the prize car for winning the B-spec Amatuer NR-A Roadster cup. The trick to B-spec is to not let your driver get over-heated or too relaxed. Try to keep his temper above the mid mark and he do better. I'll even pace him down or tell him to maintain pace when trying to pass the car in front of him. Another trick is just to put him in a car that out classes the field. He will need little instruction then.
If I may humbly request an X1 as well I would be very appreciative, I know there have been some posts from people gifting duplicated ones. Just finished all but the Endurance events and am around level 25/26. PSN: futureowner
Willing to trade a 599 for a 458. 599 is completely stock, no miles, and is Blu Pozzi. Also, anyone have an FGT I can borrow? PSN:KevinRachel2009.
I just did the Nascar challenge, not as easy racing Daytona as I thought. Got bumped & drafted into 8th, finished 2nd place in the championship. (F*ck you virtual Montoya!)
Well, I tried driving the X2010 yesterday with my steering wheel. I think I'm going to have to unplug the damn thing! I didn't realize it could shake like that. Maybe I've just got a bad alignment setup for having the downforce on full? Either way, its a good car to have for grinding some money out of b-spec.
That is all I'm using the X1 for, grinding in B-spec. I don't like the fact that I need to run the same endurance race more than once to level up. The X1, to me, really isn't that fun to drive since it is insanely over powered and unrealistic but B-spec Bob has no trouble with it.
I think it will be a good one to run practice laps with too because, yes, unrealistic, but if yuo can figure out how to drive it flat out, it will certainly help improve reaction times. Mine aren't that great apparently.
I was driving my X1 around Indy last night and while I was easily in the lead I couldn't keep the X1 on the track. This thing turns on a dime even at 300mph!
I can't even push that thing to the limits on an oval track! Drove the Nürburgring, crashed all the time. It goes like hell until you're a bit off and touch the grass, then it flies in to the wall... It did help me win the 'Ring on All Stars on Expert, though, which I struggled with. What's even more insane is that I was catching up the last cars with one round within 5 rounds on the Like The Wind championships. And those cars are die hard LeMans racers, about as fast at cars on four wheels come in racing... But it's fun though, to just have it. The graphics on that particular machine is absolutely brilliant too. Anyone got a touring car for the DTM championship? Going to play Nascar cup now, yuck, not my cup of tea. DTM after that...
