good link, easy to read... lol
Hi everyone, Just found this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8sUCZYSM3DU It is surely a repost but I thought it fits well in the subject. The report is quite interesting, and not too formated. The main subject being the LP640 SV. Besides, on the first part, from 8:40, there are some very interesting images for vintage Lamborghini lovers, some of them I've never seen elsewhere. Especially, at 10:05, you can see Ferruccio coming out of a 400 GT 2+2 (my guess from the shape of the front fender). Happy new year to everyone!
Here are two more from his archives featuring Isleros in the factory. The first one is certainly 6000 given the headrests and you can see Bob Wallace at the wheel while Ferruccio is being interviewed. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
What a great site Makes me wants to learn Russian, although after two weeks there a couple of years ago, all I had managed was about five words, and that was an effort, so got a way to go yet!
Fantastic colour scheme for this lp400! Thanks for sharing. I've never seen this front end: seems that customer was king at that time and could order anything he wanted...
Google Chrome does a fair job or auto-translating pages on the Fly. You are not going to get great prose, but the results are surprisingly good, depending on the source language.
I remember Joe mentioned something about he saw that arrangement before on another car when he did se a pic of a Red Japanese LP400, must be this one.
1977 Factory. It what color, and not yellow. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Assembly has already started. The duct on side is painted black. The rear light is installed. It questioned because it was thought that it was not a primer.
And reapplied... Since the colours on the image are pale it could be a white or orange car, even with the ILR it's hard to say.
This is well known, Tonino bought the rusted prototype, you can see some of them now in the museum in Dosso di Cento.
I scanned a few factory pics - these were taken from 1984 to 1988 The red Urraco in the fist pic was mine. I might have posted a few of these pics in other threads. Enjoy. Good spot! Once again Keith if you know the dates of these pictures this would really help identify both Silhouettes. Thanks.
Pictures from a very nice "Lamborghini Special" issued in July 1983 in the french magazine "Sport Auto". It was written by Gerard Crombac and also featured a Giulio Alfieri interview and a Jose Rosinski road test of the Countach. A true must-have! Image Unavailable, Please Login
