The Enzo reimagined.... Jim's Ferrari P 4/5 by Pininfarina

It was funny I pulled up in front of the restaurant and parked in front which I didn't realise was the sidewalk. The Police pulled up and very kindly asked if I'd mind pulling her into the Bus Stop instead. During dinner I think every Policeman in Paris stopped by for a look.

For some reason I didn't get a parking ticket...

BTW, CarDesignNews web site reported that Pininfarina design director Lowie Vermeersch has resigned. Do you have any insight on this or Pininfarina news in general?

He was around at the end of the project so I got to know him but Jason was the stylist.

 

Just watched the high speed testing video, what is P 4/5s top speed?

Didn't Jim already do this once? why would he be doing that again, especially with the effort to get the race car sorted... and then I thought, maybe it was old, as we'd have heard you took it over to wring out, again... I wanted to say thank you for the way you have shared this car. After finally reading this entire thread I can say you are what all car guys should be. That your collection is based off what moves and interests you and not what is popular or considered needed to impress people in talks is awesome. That you could own most any car you pleased, I love your choices. And that you drive them and share them with everyone is amazing. I think you said you have 30k+ on the lola? people don't drive vettes that much! So I hope to see p4/5 in person one day( I'll watch to see if you come back to palm beach, would be worth the drive) but thank you for the car you have built and shared with the world.

It indeed put a smile on my face seeing that clip as well! That car sounds absolutely amazing, I really hope to see/hear it in person one day. How does the car's handling characteristics compare to say a Challenge Stradale or Scuderia?

 

Was looking at some pics of P4/5 today and its really such a timelous shape, would be great to see her in Africa at some stage

Looks fantastic Jim. The only thing that caught my eye was the side view shot. You mentioned that after the race, you want to drive this on the street. The side view looks severely compromised. I didn't notice this to be the case on P4/5. Am I seeing things correctly?

Exactly as in P 4/5. For the sides you have to use the mirrors which aren't fitted yet.

Her first steps on a Go Kart Track just to make sure all is working.

Next week a real track and I'll drive her.
