I recently bought a 430 and plan to use it often. Just wondering if there are any restaurants that people typically frequent in the greater Boston area (fun drives to go eat) which have ample parking... so that the Ferrari isn't jammed into a tight space next to other cars.

It sounds silly to think of only going to restaurants that have 'appropriate' parking... but you know what i mean. Does anyone have a handful of suggestions for food places they like to go to with their car? Either in Boston or surrounding (128 belt, etc. etc.)

    thx.

I think this is a perennial problem - I personally just park my cars anywhere and I valet them as well, touch wood haven't had a problem of any kind in Boston. If you tip properly in downtown Boston, you can have your car left right out front and not need it to be driven anywhere by the valet, and there are some pretty nice restaurants to frequent in Boston proper.

However, I understand that others don't share this same viewpoint - it does depend how much you worry about your car when you leave it unattended.

Congratulations on the new car - you'll enjoy it very much I'm sure. What part of town are you in? You may get more helpful commentary from someone local to you. I live on the north shore, and frequent Pellana (big lot) which is a really good steakhouse and tryst in Beverly (there's a big public lot behind, but its regular street parking).

Just got the car but before it went into hibernation for the winter I took the 458 to The Capital Grill in Chestnut Hill. They made space up front, I kept the keys, and I gave the valet a $20. The Liberty Hotel in Boston was equally accommodating (up front, I kept the keys).

Ian, is your 458 yellow, and did you buy it from FNE? If so, I think I saw your car when I picked up my 328; quite pretty!

Sorry to digress. +1 on The Capital Grill: twice found the valets there to be very accommodating.

Got it from FoNE but mine’s rosa corsa with nero interior. Haven’t seen it in yellow but along with a few other corsa’s I’ve seen a black and white one (I think Dan’s). In person it just seems to look great in any color.

A place I go to often is Hawthorne By-The-Sea in Swampscott, Partly because it's right down the street from me but it also has a huge safe parking lot with an attendant. On many occasions have seen Ferrari's, Lambo's and Maserati's. Good food since it's part of Anthony's Pier 4 and you can't beat the view.
