Good day of stooging, but no stink yet. We did, however, tell some lies. Yelcab showed up along with Ernie. Vince & I too. Always good to have somebody there who hasn't heard all of your good lies, learn some new ones, and share some war stories.
    Results tomorrow maybe.

Excellent! Glad Mitch joined the party. I look forward to meeting him some day. From his posts he is becoming quite a stooge. I hope he joins us on track to earn his GFRT sticker.

I was so glad to be there witnessing the non-start of the Frankenmobile. I am so inspired by the stooges that I vow to start up the Bay Area Stooges Chapter AFTER I get my own 348TB

    Well Golly Plugzit..........

We have the whole gang gathered around the Zenith sitting cross legged in the living room, all staring at the wall. Orson has proclaimed "The Shadow Knows! Hmmm". and then some Villain tells us to stay tuned for Our Next Exciting Chapter..... but the awaited Stink was a no show???? WTH?!!!!

Fatso is near finished with the napkin drawings on how to part out a perfectly good 550 and turn it into a super villain. Bruce has all of his parts clean and the evil Erector Set ready to screw together. Sy is deep into his wallet with pieces and parts from every corner of the globe in route.... And worse, the Stooge gang is recruiting and grabbing up everyone walking by with a pulse still able to fog a mirror.......

There are evil red and yellow Villains everywhere but not a patriotic White Hat to be seen. Is there any hope? Will the slippery Phoenix 358 rule GFRT? Will the alcohol belching, over valved 355 Spider rule the roost? Will the steroid popping 550 outpace everything good from the Cheese Grater years?

Just when all appears lost, off in the distance........Is it, could it be..... Captain America's trusty Cheese Grater Steed being drug into the CO Skunk Works by a rope? A glimmer of hope to the masses that all is not lost and a cheese grater will pass air? WAY behind time, with no budget, out of BB's and nothing but a broken down old gimp with a flattened and manure stained white hat working to glue together a Bitsa motor and pull broken door grills out of the radiator.... Can all that is good with the 348 still compete with the Super Villains of tomorrow? Tune in later to see if.......

Me thinks someone is still taking pain killers or there must have been a major fire last night in the cannabis field next door.

That's all we need is for Captain America to show up at the in-augural GFRT event with a mega thousand dollar patriotic paint job.....

I'm just setting here eating a bowl of Coco Puffs and trying to imagine following Ole Glory around the track...I'm not going to be swayed by that propaganda gimmick.....

My money is on Bullwinkle to burn in pit lane, fatso's 550(now a 275 for weight savings) to break in half in turn one, Dave being held at gun point in the transporter by his painter, Sy's car being impounded at customs, and the moonshine express capturing the glass slipper of the fair maiden waving here booty..I mean checkered flag.

Define normal! Plugzit spotted in brown pumps with white socks and now we have this one talking about wearing glass slippers. I'm feeling out of place in the snake boots but this is Boulder....

Had a long conversation with the Flyboy last night. As always, there is an unhealthy price tag associated with that type of conversation

Dude...I am serious. An OEM Ferrari 355 challenge wing is value added at the time of sale. Also, I can do more with a wing than 50 hp. A cheaper functional CFD wing from say APR will already be $1500 bucks. So if you can get a challenge wing you are golden. If the 358 has anywhere near the horsepower we all home you will need that wing. I can't remember if there are any 355 underbody aero panels to help you out but there are a few of those on ebay too right now. YOU NEED THIS WING!

    Making any stink yet?

Last I heard Plugzit was counting the remaining teeth on a crank pulley and thumbing his way through VERY expensive Motec parts catalogs.

At 1:50pm the 358 arose from the dead.
Thank God for the expertise of VVassallo and Dave Helms.
More later. I don't want to run it more than a few seconds without another set of eyes. The other proud father is at "work" and won't be by 'til he can come up with an excuse.

Make sure the engine is running in the right direction...

A few seconds? The big question is will it stay intact long enough to get on the grid.
