With my 'new' (to me) 355, I got one key fob remote, a black one. Now, because of the immobilizer, I'm fearful that the battery will go dead, or I'll (God forbid) lose it, or so other life-changing event will happen.... Was there originally a second remote? Can I have another remote cloned from the black one? Or, is there another solution? Thanks in advance, guys.... appreciate it. Mike
Yang- This document should answer most of your questions. Try and see if you can find the original Alarm PIN in the documents that came with the car. Eric355 in southern France is the closest person to you I know about who can clone fobs. Taz Terry Phillips Image Unavailable, Please Login
I believe car originally had three remotes. Seems like every car these days only has one or two when guys buy them. Do the original owners eat these things? How do you loose stuff like that. Can't remember the last time I saw a car sell with all the remotes intact
Eli- I have provided five sets of 3 matchedfobs with new PINs to Ferrari owners. 100% success so far using the document above. Takes less than five minutes to program the Alarm ECU to accept a new set. If somebody has a Ferrari with this alarm system, it would behoove them to learn how to start the car without the remote available. No too difficult if you follow the checklist in the programming document. Once done, you do not need the checklist. First time the remote does not work, it will get you home or to your dealer. Robbie- I think the dealers lose them, but I am sure there are also quite a few still in the original owner's possession. Would not be so bad if FNA did not charge $500 for the old PIN and $500-750 for a new set of matched fobs with new PIN. Taz Terry Phillips
Pretty sure in the UK we can get the pin code for free (providing proof that we own said car) and the fobs are about £350 for the set of 3. Only have 1 for with my car which is why i looked into this

After corresponding with Eric in France... the trick, apparently, is to first find remotes for sale... I'll post a 'wanted' ad in FerrariAds, and start looking... if anyone knows of any, or has one for sale, please send me a PM... Thanks, Mike
