Well... it's not a Scuderia like the seller says it is and it's over priced for a 2005 6 speed. With a Scuderia bumper it makes me think that it might have been in a front end collision. Those chrome wheels are hideous!

Look very clean, nice touch adding Scuderia bumper. I wont tend to think it was in an accident. I know a few guys who added a Stradale bumper to their 360.

Wheels add another nice touch for those non Ferrarists(haven't owned a Ferrari with stock and never will).

Other than being over priced its worth a PPI if the seller gets real on the price.

Take a look on ebay. There is an 05 red/tan with higher miles, but all records for around 120k. Also, a 2006 black on tan with all records for 127k buy now.

I stay away from whole sellers and definitely get a PPI. I agree with the group. Overpriced.

Exactly what I was thinking. Besides the other comps listed above, I bought a 2007 F430 F1 coupe for 149k with 5k miles in 2009. Its way over priced. I would stay away as the seller wont likely drop the price 25-30k :)

if it were a normal F430, yes, but the Suade interior makes it worth it

Not hardly. That's just alcantara carpet... no big deal. If it had any options at all then it might be closer to the proper price. All I see is Daytona seats. If you don't have an F1 in the F430 then you aren't experiencing the full potential of the car. This car has nothing going for it of you ask me. What would bother me the most is that the seller is referring to it as a Scuderia. An ill-informed buyer might not know the difference.

It was a joke. The ad is full of typos, including Suade.

Not to change the subject, but that's a laugh. If you haven't driven a 6-speed F430, you haven't driven an F430.

With anything prior to the F430 I would agree. Everything after the 360 was specifically engineered with the F1 system in mind. Gee... I wonder why we have a 6 speed manual 599 GTB here in Austin that's been for sale for 6 years with only 750 miles on it. No body wants it... that's why. I've heard lot's of people say they would want a 6 speed manual but that doesn't really matter if they aren't in the market for one. I speak the truth and you know it. But of course I know what a Mannetino does. ;)

I'm sure you are having tons of fun with your 3 pedal car, none the less.

F1 in 430 is definitely an improvement over 360 (same as CS) and you correct that some of the systems are designed with F1 in mind but I think the 6 speed manual is every bit as good and certainly more involving - I think the performance figures are also the same when driven by a 'skilled driver'. Certainly more demand for F1 than manual (10:1) and there should be a price difference to reflect the original cost difference less depreciation but ultimately both are great. Drive both and buy your preference.

Your argument holds true for a 599GTO 458 or Enzo on the track. F1 system are automated tranny which Americans love because they are too lazy to want to shift. F1 takes driver involvement out of the equation.

these are street cars used primarily used for the street. true car enthusiasts prefer 3 pedal and most 3 pedal have miles on them because they are not trophy cars(qarage queens) but driver enjoyment vehicles.

the only thing wrong with this car is its overpriced for todays market. It will be a collector car because of its rarity.

I think both of you have good points. Owning a 360 6 speed and having driven a 430 F1, they both have very different driving characteristics. The 6 speed imho is a more connected driving experience, and the F1 definitely a faster more refined way to drive. My next car will have the F1 in it, but I hope to add a 6 speed to the stable in the near future after that, to have the best of both worlds.

NEVER going to happen. If the ratio 10:1 (F1 to 6 speed) is correct than there are still plenty of 6 speed 430s. The 6 speed wont have much at all to deal with rarity. If there were 5-25 cars with it, it would be a different story. So I completely agree with you.

Although I do think you are missing quite a lot with the F1, I can't agree with this. F1 is fun also, just in a different, non-involving :) way. Putting it that way, your statement is a put down for F1 folks or at the least some kind of snobbery for manual folks. The problem is, where do you stop? It'd be just as easy for the next "better" guy to come along and say "true" car enthusiasts prefer dog box (no clutch manual), no ABS, no power brakes, no power steering, single seaters. Apparently you fancy yourself a true enthusiast, but I assure you there are those at a higher level than you who would look down upon your meager "interest" compared to their enthusiasm.

That said, I will also say this:

Yes,I'm a car nut/enthusiast and its more than an interest. I'm not knocking the F1 per se. I would like to have one and it has its usefulness. And I would agree that F1 is fun in a different way.

On the amateur level manual trans tests your skills more than F1. On the pro circuit F1 is invaluable.

I'm surprised at your response considering you have a manual car.
