From what I've read that is thing thing to do. The problem I'm having is when I hit the 2J, I slow myself down while increasing it's speed. I'll try again later on this evening.

A hit from behind is pointless. You have to hit its rear side. Just as IRL when driving a gokart ;)

The right turn down at the Casino is ideal for this. After that he escapes.

If you come accross the RS200 rally car... I believe its about the same value. I have seen it twice, and each time I only had 500k credits :(

(Or any of the other group b competition cars for that matter)

Have any of you guys made any racetracks? I've been messing around with that tonight and its fun. Its a little tricky coming up with something good because its random but I've gotten a few good ones.

Yep I have it, but I tested sending it to the wrong alt (one I had deleted) so I have to wait until tomorrow to send it to ya. :)

I've made a couple go kart tracks with my nephews that were pretty fun, but that's about it for now.

Just did the Nordschleife in 5:49 with the X10. And that still wasn't flat out. Over 450 klicks on the long straight. My hands got really tired from holding the bouncing steering wheel under control.

I love this car. Made mince meat out of the Le Mans cars in GT All stars series.

I haven' tried it with the Formula GT car yet on soft tires... but in GT4, I managed a 5:05 with medium race tires, and two mistakes worth 5+ seconds :)

The trick is to soften the suspension, and give it less aggressive camber and toe settings. That track is quite bumpy ;)

I need a sport truck if anyone has one. I saw a dodge ram in the used car section when I started the game and have not seen a truck since.

James, check the online dealership. If you can't find one by tomorrow, I'll gift you my 700 hp SVT Lightning :)

There is an online dealership? I'll have to look for that. Is it part of the used cars section?

It is listed right beside the 'seasonal event' icon as it's own icon.

Gawd the k car race was such a joke. I spent 200k+ tuning up some micro truck 'midget' ... After all the tuning, I got it 525kg + soft tires + 100 hp engine, and a customizable gearbox... it was faster than the rest. Ugly, stupid, and pointless.

I chose to mod up an early Miata to get it under 900 kg and 220 hp. That was fun!

~I'm of the opinion that I got every car myself~ which is needed for competition... the other cars for fun, I'm happy to trade... oh, and for somebody who just starts out like James. If I was trading for this car and that, maybe I would have 20,000,000 credits, and the trophy associated with that and 'penniless' already; but I wouldn't have nearly as much fun. There are a few cars which I would like to have which are prohibitively expensive; the rest you just have to time right in the used car lot. When I run out of those; then I'll eat up the new car dealerships :)

I finally beat the Historic series in A/B-spec mode with the Mark IV, an oil change does wonders. I'm currently working on advancing my B-Spec drivers but having trouble with the ALL STARS Series. I'm Currently using the 2009 Pagani Zonda R or Mazda Furai for that series but ol' B-Spec Bob gets tried & spins out or just goofs into a wall.

I think I used the Minolta for those and had very little trouble.

I skipped the All Star Championship and moved on until I beat the "Like the Wind" events using the Mazda Furai. Then I used the Minolta prize car to beat the B-spec "Like the Wind" which awards you the Toyota 7. Then I went back to the All Star Championship with the Minolta.
