Really thrilled to see it arrive, its everything I expected and I haven't even opened her up yet ! Special thanks to the entire crew at Ferrari of Central New Jersey, especially Chris Miele and Joe Collado who were first class all the way from spec discussions in July, to final delivery this week...their professionalism and enthusiasm really made this a memorable experience :)

    Onto the pics...Chassis number 177530

very nice...saw a couple of GTO's at Ferrari Newport Beach the other day, impressive cars.

on yours, are the rocker panels CF, painted flat black, or...?

and did you sell something else to make room for this?

    Chas,

the rocker panels are naked CF, the roof is matt silverstone.

I did end up trading in the CS and the 512BB....the CS had sat since the 16M arrived, literally only drove it to keep things lubricated. As magnificent as that car is with the tubiNGT and hyperflows, fact is is just wasn't being driven at all...and I needed the space :)

As far as the boxer, again a nice example but it needs ongoing routine attention (in addition to a major from a time standpoint) and I just don't have the time right now to tinker. I will keep a lookout for a completely restored/fettled 512BB though...its a car I might just have again sometime.

thanks for the clarification; I've seen the CF rockers on 16Ms/Scuds but that's the first I've seen on a GTO.

understand on the CS and the BB; if you're not driving them, why own them...

Looks nice, tidy pshop ! The pic makes it look a little lighter than it is...the wheels actually match the roof a little better than the pics indicate.

Any time Tanner...your shots of the CGT were fantastic, thank you !

When it gets above 18F, we'll get out and do a shoot....the car can run in temps colder than that, its just the driver that starts to creak....

Jon, when the weather gets better I'll be interested in the comparo too :) From my understanding, the one piece of "never do" advice from Ferrari engineers was to run the GTO in cold temps (for grip reasons only)....That being said, we've all seen the pic of the GTO with snow piled up on it !

I have a couple of professional driver friends who would love to help out in a comparison run ! Nothing scientific...just some deserted back roads and open stretches....I'l let you know

Congrats Jas, like Chas said, that's the first time I've ever seen the rockers in CF like that on a GTO. I'm not too sure I like it.

    Enjoy! :)

Congratulations, great looking GTO. The interior especially looks very unique, hard to tell from the pic but as the seats finished entirely in suede?

A simply amazing stable of cars ,congratulations, I would imagine deciding what to drive can be a bit tough at times!

Great looking GTO Jas...enjoy it. Did your car come over on that boat that got stuck in Spain like mine? They tell me it docked in Newark last week so my GTO might get delivered this coming week.
