There were some very cool cars, including a '50s Ferrari 212 Vignale Spyder.

    Let's see those pics!

There were some very nice cars that showed up today! I'm still editing my photos. I'm hoping to get them up by Monday if I don't get them done tomorrow.

On my way home from C&C, on Shea Blvd, just east of Frank Lloyd Wright Blvd, there was a red/white-striped Ford GT off the right side of the road buried in a bunch of cacti. There were three police cars there as I drove by. Anybody know what happened? I hope the driver - and the car- are OK. -Steve

Dont know what happened, there were no tire marks in the road, may be someone cut him? both the driver and passenger were next to car when I went by and looked to be okay, the car didnt look to bad, looked like most of the damage came from going over the curb.

These cars often find themselves in crashes.
The Ford GTs have had numerous ones turned into Salvage Title Rebuilds, check the ads as they're common to see. Too much car, too little driving experience, too late over correcting counter steer.

That Vignale Spyder was really cool to see. Someone said it was worth 1+mil?? Is that true? Never seen one before. Anyone know the history on that one?..Also I loved seeing the Alfa 8C. It looked amazing. Lots of rare stuff this weekend!

It is one of 4 212 Vignale Cabriolet's made, each one slightly different from each other. In regards to value you are in the right neighborhood. Since it is essentially a one off it is very difficult to price. This car was a California car. It has been run world wide in several tours over the last decade. In the early 2000’s it was shown at Pebble Beach. At that time it was red. Its complete history is posted on line search SN 255EU.

    Cheers Jim
