Yeah initially I thought the TV programme was about the drive we did last year to HRC.

Good to know that there are still many of such initiatives ongoing!

The Mugen RR is extremely rare with limited production, but not sure if it justifies the price increase over a standard Type R.

The V6 in the old R32 makes a delicious soundtrack that the T4 in the new Golf R will never be able to replicate. But then again, there's the weight issue due to the V6 upfront.

I guess it's possible since there are almost endless possibilities to mod the GTI's engine, just like Porkers :)

Throw on a bodykit and LED rear lights and you're good to go!

I really liked the 3200... more so than the 4200. The bonnet also had the gills on the 3200. Very nice car. They had to change the lights on the 4200 coz US didn't allow it.

Saw a 2.2 S2000 last week, asking for under $100K which is decent value.

It's for your wife again? 2 door, 4 doors?

There's only two MugenRR registered here & Patrick of autoavantgarde has one. Last saw it @ S$144K but there are at least two unregistered units available to register in Malaysia.

Were there ever any 3200 locally? Haven't seen one around but I do love the boomerang tailights. The 4200 is just a boring looking car overall. Luckily, that all changed when the GranTurismo arrived :)

Our dear Tifosi66 would know a lot but he's retired now :D

I hear that the Lotus has weak gearbox & a heavy clutch but please do yourself favour and google more about it but nothing better than a self testdrive :)

I almost bought a GC8 last week but am still waiting for a right car to come along & even considered a Mondial too :D

Be prepared to spend $10-30K to spruce up any old Ferraris, the Mondial won't have the kick of WRXs but the pedigree is there. Regular upkeep & parts are still cheap compared to modern Ferraris while they are rather reliable as well. Oh, keep it stock, at least the body ;)
