I have noticed a couple of F355's with mesh filters on the front bumper, and in the side intakes. Cannot seem to locate it online at any shop.

Anyone know where I can order these?

Also, anyone know a place I can order the Scuderia type of stripes you's normally see on the 360 and 430 for a 355?

The ones I have seen on 355's seem really wide, and I like the slimmer more modest look at the 430 style.

    Thanks

    Rorie

Do you have any pics of the grills on the front bumper?
The grills you see on the side door intakes are likely challenge grill parts and Ricambi had some for sale last year but ran out (I was looking for a set at the time).

Ok, the grill covers on the intake vent at the back of the door (rear quarter panel) in the picture are not the factory challenge grills as those actually attatch to the vents on the doors themselves.
All 3 mesh grills appear to be custom or home made.

Actually I have seen this car before......I recognize the armrest (its a universal part available on ebay).
The details on this car are a little lacking in quality but all is easily corrected.

    Thanks.

I am not a huge fan of that arm rest.

I had no idea til this post there were challenge mesh grilles for ther air intake.

If I can find some, I may pick them up.

    Thanks

Following an little 'incident' when i got side swiped at Silverstone in the old 348, front end was taken out and some glass from the front fogs went into side pod and into one radiator. I though better to play safe and have guards on.
Especially as I've just had both rads re cored. so i fitted a mesh in front of the side pods, as opposed to the usual door mesh. Seems to work quite well so far but easily reversible of course.

and i've done other naughty things in my life - some not so easily sorted. But hey its too short to worry too much.
also just been told, on another forum, that the cheap plastic wing shields the 355 came with are not genuine ferrari, now thats got me worried!

:D ......... I did not see your other posts wich showed you did this on purpose  ........... I was sleepy and just read the first post  ........... as far as function I would have to agree, the grills would certainly keep the new radiator cores safer :).

for the love of all things beautiful, please don't put any mesh on a 355.

    348... sure why not :)

But it goes along with the fuzzy dice I have on the mirrors??

I am just curious. I don't think I would do it.

I made them up when i had the rads out to recore.
It was an easy job, once the side pods were out, to make the shape to fit. They were then fixed in with a bit of black silicon and some plastic ties, So an easy job to remove from outside when no longer needed.

These are purely practical for competition use, I wouldn't put them on the car just for road use. As anyone who follows the PFHC series knows, it has been known for me to have the occasional incident! These may save a rad if I do, thats all. Although this season I plan to stick to the black stuff and get some points.
