Easy! As of 11/24/10 I've given up beer (and all alcohol). I got a bunch of Ghirardelli caffee bags, Double Chocolate, Chocolate Caramel and Chocolate Hazelnut. The Double Chocolate is orgasmic and I don't normally like flavored coffee.
Hate the taste and smell of coffee and love beer, so I did not even taint your poll with a vote. Would kill my wife to give up coffee, however. Taz Terry Phillips
Beer/Wine. I do appreciate a good red wine, but I don't drink it that often and then not in great quantities. Beer is nice on a really hot day, but then I don't drink a whole lot of that either. I have one or two coffees a day, so definitely wouldn't want to give up coffee. All the best, Andrew.
I voted for coffee because from time to time I'll quit drinking it all together and drink yerba matte from Argentina. I actually like it more than coffee it's just not as convenient.
I go in phases. I haven't had any in about three months but am planning on going to the store and get a sack. I'll probably stick with it without coffee until March when I leave town for a couple weeks. Do you enjoy the Mate.
I'd drop coffee before I drop beer. Actually, I hate coffee, and I love beer, so it doesn't matter anyways! Nothing beats a cold beer and a hockey game. NOTHING!
I love coffee (espresso actually) and while I love beer I just don't drink it all that much anymore, I've moved on to other forms of alcohol. So I could give up beer.
I voted for coffee, but I love it. I couldn't (at this point) give up beer. I can always substitute green/black tea for coffee.
I dont like beer, but I do like wine, but I live on coffee, so I had to keep the coffee. Also I assume I get to keep bourbon, so its all good.
I NEVER have liked coffee, I do drink a beer, i drink around a case a month, 6 for the weekend is about the norm for me. It did take me a year to dial in my garage frideraor to get the temp just right for beer (to cold for water) befor it freezes. Very refreshing on a hot summer day!
I love both very dearly but if I had to drop one it would be beer. I get massive headaches in the morning if I don't have a cup of coffee by at least 10AM. I only drink about six beers a month these days, anyhow. I never really got into liquor, for better or worse.
I read coffee and/or caffeine drinkers get that a lot, it is supposed to go away after 2 weeks of no caffeine, apaerenty the caffeine has some effect in the tiny blood vessel in the brain that makes them contract when going through withdrawals. I'm sure there are 500 doctors here that can define it more accurate.
Beer.... When I got into my late 20's and discovered fine scotch, I basically stopped drinking beer. Coffee, OTOH, keeps getting better and better... Clint, did you ever try Do Ponto?
