Nice 3200 and one of those car that you will sure take note of from far esp from the rear view. Lung, your daughter had grown quite a bit and look very different now! :-D
Maybe this was before the huge jump in COE? I notice the pre owned dealers like to hike their prices in relation to COE due to "more demand".
Sexy! I mean the car Come to look @ it again, if there's a rear-end, it will be quite tricky to replace parts as the last quarter panel seems to be one piece with the body. Hmmm Lung, how does it drive? Conicidentally, was readng up Chris Harris last night & mentioned that the brake pedal is too darn near to the accelerator while the turbo lag is quite.... Should be quite an interesting car to mod though.
trying to find a nice sportier steering wheel but not too small diameter. anyone got any leftovers after selling off their car? saw a nice360 challenge steering wheel but i think must modify adaptor and may also be too small.
this is the thing, being old school i prefer awd to fwd (tho id really prefer rwd) n definitely id prefer 6cylinder over 4 tho the turbo compensates (esp with upgrade options)
Hehehehe Where does a Lotus Carlton fall in though? Exotic, or Almost-Exotic? Oh dear, just one left? How much is it going for?
nuts i have a hearing at 9am. on both thurs n fri. how is the traffic on sat early morn? audi i recall u saying getting thru 2nd link was really bad!
Tim, what's the implications of taking "friends" & juveniles as passengers then God forsake, accident happened? Read that Audi took the boy across for a good run. Now, we all love a good shot & all the spirit but should anything happens, will we as drivers get sued?! I wouldn't want to answer to their parents, you know what I mean. Sign an indemnity form?
passengers like third parties, can always sue drivers if they are injured as a result of the drivers' negligence, then driver's insurance hopefully will take care of it.
Same here. It will be shiok if the GTI or R is RWD only. But I read that one can modify the Haldex clutch controller in the R32 or new Golf R to distribute more power to rear wheels in Race mode!
Believe this has been mentioned here before. But came across this informative thread in another subforum: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=140199395#post140199395

Only ever did a few times but better do it on open road initially It can be useful on trackdays to keep revs up/traction there but brake into corners but don't see myself needing it for the moment. Think Lung is another guy who does it all the time.
Life was a lot simpler back then... I was very happy with the car back then. It was quick off the mark, accelerator was springy, good daily driver. I took it to Sepang... and it was all over the place. I believe it has the computer controlled "skyhook" system similar to the 4200. Very soft for track. It felt like a boat on the track. The Gransport was the best of the series... imo
