    Sorry i missed you . We finished the judging @ 2:30 then the press conference was @4.Porsche won Best Concept & Audi won best production.

    Don't sweat it; with the weather, I couldn't get down there until 4:30pm. I may be back later in the week to get more photos, etc. I was happy to see Porsche back with an excellent concept. It looked very production ready. The Audi with best production? which Audi? The white hopped up R8 done ACR style?

    One day, I'll be able to tell my grand children about the concepts that used to bestow NAIAS... I wonder if those wild rides will ever return?

    I did see Roger Penske roaming about all by his lonsome. :)

    zero will refuse to come back. Few cities offer as much culture at such bargain prices, and are also the heart of the automotive world. I saw nobody unhappy during the press day I was @ the show for.

    Embarrassing? For BMW, yes. For Detroit? Does it truly surprise anybody that there are car thieves here? The real question I have is how dispatch responded considering the press.

    I went to the industry preview. I have to say, who in their right mind is going to buy that Bentley? I was hoping I would like it better in person, but it is simply disgusting looking. I am actually offended that it is called a Bentley. It should be called 'Sloth' after the guy in The Goonies, because that is EXACTLY what it looks like. WHO....WHO… thought that was an attractive design? Its probably the same guy that thought charging for tape by the roll at FedEx was a good idea, and he is now sleeping with a horse’s head in the covers.

    I really liked that they made the BMW 135i less ugly with their M version. It looks pretty good actually. The Cayman R is about damn time!

    Its not letting me edited the post, did anyone else get that? It is not doing anything for me.

    Also it only let me put 30 photos in the gallery but I found out after the fact so my full coverage or 200 photos in on my site on the link above.
