I think KDK is referring to some 36 yr old hum recently advertised for $450k/month . For that price, you can get more hum than you can eat for a lifetime!

 

For 1 series size, I'll have a Focus RS instead.

 

I think it will be a fun car .. & I like that it only comes with 3 peddles & a stick .. but I suspect price may be a little prohibitive.

Not street legal here due to roll cage & plastic windows. The 997GT3RS is the 1st to be homologated by Lta & Harold's unit was the first but they didn't register it until Stuttgart sent their Green unit to lose it's virgin

There is one unit (996) registered & regularly used by a PCM member in KL though.

RS handles better than it should due to some trick front diff. But generally Fords handle very nicely, true drivers' cars. Underappreciated here though which makes buying used a very interesting proposition.

I think it's a proper homage to the Ur-Quattro, especially with the weight being pegged close to that of the original and using the 5-cylinder from the TT RS.

 

Interesting. Didn't know the older generation of RS are not street legal. That explains why I've never seen any around.

 

Never liked the look of the 1-Series but good to see that rowing your own is the only option to cater to enthusiasts.
