I'm going to attend the Pebble Beach Concours in August, does anyone have recommendations as to where to stay?

most places are probably already booked. do you want to be in pebble, carmel, monterey? choose the venues you'll be attending then chose your location.
will you be bringing a car to show?

I've never been to the Pebble Beach Concurs before, so I'm not sure what venues I should go to or where I should stay. What ones are the best and where would you stay if you went to those events? No, I'm not bringing a car to the show

Marriott is my choice as it's in the heart of the action at night. Every car that goes through the RM auction is driven past the hotel. In addition the Marriott has an auction too. It's an amazing weekend. I usually go up Thursday with my car. Last year we had a 60+ car convoy from Los Angeles to Carmel! What a blast! Friday we attend the Concurso Italiano. It's a Ferrari must. There are 20+ events that weekend scattered within a 15 mile radius. Monterey historics is my Saturday event in addition to what ever special Ferrari invite only event. Tough to get into but if you have a connection.... First class all the way. We saw the 599 Aperta last year. Sunday is the actual BIG concourse de elegance. Depending if we know someone who's car is entered decides if we attend or take the scenic route along the coast home and hit a winery or Hearst Castle. It's an amazing weekend of great people and art on four wheels. A little factoid: pebble beach weekend has the highest concentration of wealth than any other event in the world!
