Is there anywhere in the NorthEast where I can get my
355 Spyder on a track without butchering it with
    rollbar and fire extinguisher?

Or anywhere I can go fast without the Police
coming out of my trunk with a fist full of tickets?

That must be where they come from...........

    Thanks

Ocean Parkway on the south shore of Long Island. Then head up north on the Robert Moses Causeway bridge. Two mile long bridge that crosses the Great South Bay. I've gone pretty fast over that bridge. Check it out on Google Earth - Robert Moses Causeway, NY. Don't know of any tracks.

Any cops who own a Ferrari and might be a member of this site . We should code these locations and have electronic security codes so they wont detect us. hahahahah

Probably, however you will be regulated to the slow run groups. That is one of the costs of the pop-top.

Many do not consider the fire extingusher a butchering.

I don't think it's the lack of extinguisher that's going to be the main problem; rather, it's the lack of factory rollbars. I'm sure you've heard of the "broomstick" test...the 355 Spyders would never pass!

I've done a few private group track days in the greater New York area (NJMP, Monticello) and even though they're comparatively 'relaxed' to DE events, I don't think 355 Spyders would be allowed; I do think 360 Spyders would be.

I'm pretty sure they all require a roll bar for the spyders. (I could be wrong)
