Am not an expert on the term "shooting brake", but from what I know the car has a high sloping roofline and is very sleek. Its not a hatchback but with similar proportions.

I see the car in the flesh at the beginning of next month...i will confirm what the hell it is. I cant wait. I heard its extremely sexy.

    Hi,

Yep i think its a sportsback too aka Audi a5 with its rear shallow roof line till it hits the rear .. :) ...

If you take off the giant bump on the rear roofline you can actually work out that thats what it is..

No folks, the roofline remains high as it goes to the back end of the car, think BMW Z3 coupe but with the same length and width of the outgoing 612

Looks classy but there are some major changes. Lager flippers for the gearchange than the current 612 and California. Also, more mannetino settings than for the current 612. New seats with new styling. Quite a classy interior, quite like it!

Lets hope that Ferrari does the same quality as it does with the interior. Then the new 612 will be quite some car, a bigger looker that the 612 is at the moment.

autoblog now appears to be backtracking a bit on their assertion the car will be a coupe instead of a shooting brake.

I dont think Ferrari will dissapoint its customers on this car, however just from this picture and not having any further views or details I feel a little let down.....anyway will wait and see the car in the flesh prior to passing any judgement.

    :)

    Am excited!!

Was hoping for a more bespoke interior, instead it looks rather too much like that fitted to the California.....

The online invite to Ferrari owners coincides with Cavallino at Palm Beach FL. I was also told there is a dealers meeting there. What a surprise if the new Scag is displayed amongst the most collectible cars in the world, on the lawns of the Breakers Hotel !
    See you there !

That vender sure looks different than something we know from Ferrari till today. Much more aerodynamicly shaped.

    Some ('wild') speculation...

    - The 612 successor won't be 'true' shooting break, more a hatchback (large hatch)
    - The successor won't be shown in Geneve, but in Frankfurt
    - In 2 days time Ferrari will unveil a shooting break concept(!) based on the current 612

The purpose of this concept will be to test the waters for a possible future 'real' shooting break variant of the 612 successor.

When you look at the spyshots they look more like a hatchback than a shooting break.

The interior is right in line with the new look that started with the California and continued with the 458. Missing in the car whose photo was posted is the passenger side electronic display panel which existed in the car presented to me last month. The new optional leathers are fantastic and the interior does feel bespoke - no worries !
