Vegas Spotters

First two spots of the year on Sunday, a yellow gallardo SL w/wing on Ft Apache and a titanium DB9 sport pack I didn't know a family friend had.

I've seen three Gallardo spiders this week, two black downtown and one silver last night outside the drive-through wedding chapel behind my office.

 

At 2pm today a yellow Esprit V8TT and a new grey Acura had a nose-to-nose collision at Charleston and Durango. They were loading the wrecked Esprit onto a flatbed. Acura corner was crunched with all airbags deployed.

 

Ouch! That sucks..

 

Yeah. I wonder if it's the younger Asian guy I've seen driving a yellow V8TT around 3-4 times over the last few years. One thing's for sure: a whacked Esprit in bright yellow sitting lengthwise across three lanes of traffic is a sad and eye-catching sight! No way to duck and hide.

 

Tonight exiting Summerlin Pkwy got passed by a Maybach, a black GT3 and then a black SLR Roadster pulled in next to me at the gas station.

 

This morning just before 3 AM I was passed by a red Ferrari 599...being delivered via transport truck to the Meachum Auction on I-15.

 

You didn't buy it so you could charge $2000 per drift session?

But I did see a yellow Ford GT40 on Speedway BLVD this morning.

 

I saw a grey 240SX with a UDrift decal downtown the other day. You know who your boys can go to for tickets, right??

 

You should come pass out your business card to the kids! Nice to know that our stickers are beginning to get out. Our customers ask us for them fairly often.


By "downtown" you must mean at the courthouse. That was a girl drifter getting her license back this week after getting it confiscated.

It's a brave new world.

 

I want to come and try it out. Another lawyer friend wants to come check it out too.

We can wet down the tarmac and I can play Ronin in my A8. Got any explosives?

Red Ford GT going E. on Sahara at LV Blvd. around 9:45am

 

Black 599 with matte black side skirts (HGTE package?) on Charleston in front of the Red Rock.

 

Red 458 on Rampart about an hour ago.

 

I think I saw Steve's red 348 with the black targa top on Saturday on the 95 SB.

 

Just saw a red 360 spider w/tinted windows on 95 SB. Other day a red 430 with Ferrari of Beverly Hills plate leaving the courthouse/wedding license area.

 

Also it's fun how saturdays are like "Porsche day" around Summerlin. In the 3-4 stop lights between my house and the freeway I must have seen 5 911s and 2 Boxsters.

 

None around here. There's 1 track day per year where they show up, but that's it. Got some video of a Ferrari drifting today, though. Hit it hard!

 

If your wife and kids join you here, you should consider a place closer to the Red Rock (215 and Charleston), or Centennial Hills if you need to commute to the speedway.
