Guys, shall we fix 13th Feb ESSO 0630 for the FChat drive? Any make is welcome as long as it can keep up with the pack. Comm sets would be good as there are some sections of the road that have bad bumps and the highway also ends with a concrete barrier forcing you to veer left. Not very nice seeing that at over 200++!

sounds good ,would love to take the tr again provided ben finishes work on noisy tappets :( just found out from ital they have upped their labour to 180 per hour, normal service (air filter, oil filter n fluids , no belts) is now 3200. how much is a full service at naza, maybe drive up stay 1-2 days in kl eat at overseas, might still be cheaper:D

Wow that's pretty high for their normal service labour rates!

Then I shudder at what a belt job will cost with the engine coming out. Looks like Gary and Ben will indeed have the older cars all to themselves with the rates IA is charging.

BTW, did Ben say why she was smoking? I would assume that was left over oil stains on exhaust/engine being burnt off? I think I had a bit of that after my 1st engine out service during a M'sia run as well. Subsequently none.

At Autocare Sin Ming 4th flr. The new hourly rate compared to the Changi days will also give you an interesting perspective on inflation!

Well, I did go on track during FOCS's track day, spun the car several times doing things I wouldn't do on the road. But it is a poser car :D and I'm a little wary of testing the windshield frame to see if a spider can stand upside down with the owner's head intact! Will take her out on track again during the annual affair but wouldn't exactly be setting lap records. Just posing around the track :D.

You were not smoking when I was running behind/beside you. I reckon it should be ok but just have a check of your oil levels and see if that cap is tightened. Don't know if yours is dry or wet sump but both have diff ways of checking oil levels so refer to handbook.

    Derek, Lung's calling :D.

Lung, you wanna join us for a quickie up E22? Would love to see the 458 going for it. As it is, the Scud was already such an amazing car and you say the 458 is even better?? Must see/hear!

Tracking in the 355 must be loads of fun. Did it overheat easily at Sepang?

Would really like to try tracking one day!

Blew the left radiator fuse after that, not sure if it was after the big spin but had to nurse her back through the traffic. Oil/water temps were ok during the track but poser only did 3 laps!
