Usually when a new Ferrari like this is revealed, there's a little more consistency in enthusiasm than what we've seen here on FChat.

Do we have any owners here? Has delivery even been taken by buyers?
    Where's the buzz?

I was wondering that too... In fact I wanted to start a thread to ask for more real life pictures.

Tend to agree, there was a huge thread about the buying process but I have to wonder if indeed all 80 cars have firm buyers.

For me the car is easily my least favorite Ferrari of recent years, I dont care for the silver trimming of the actual look of the car, its more a targa than a full convertible which in my opinion ruins the effect somewhat.

However I will defer final judgement until I have seen a few pictures of the car in natural sarroundings.

It's odd that virtually anything online has to do with the Paris Auto Show launch....
Just a bit atypical from what we see in terms of such a special edition...
Me thinks the GTO took some wind out of its sail. :)

But aside from delivery information, I'd like to see some new photographs of the car as well. It really seemed like the enthusiasm for this car was just in passing.

Consistant with the topic of the thread, I'm too apathetic to search... How many are they claiming to make and when are customer deliveries planned?

Must say that the SA Aperta doesn't tickle my senses as the 599 GTO does. Guess that's the case for more people. Or here at Fchat there are not many SA Aperta future owners who are willing to speak about the car ;)

The lack of activity surrounding the car is certainly peculiar.

I think the mistake was launching it after the 599 GTO....as well as not adding more visual drama to the shape.

Well it sure added some drama to the selling process.

I'm wondering why such dedicated enthusiasts even have to ask those questions after this much time.

I believe that we've figured special "limited production" cars from Ferrari, such as the Aperta, are and will not be widely publicized as to keep the "why didn't I wasn't awarded a slot" to a minimum. Great thread with many points of view on Ferrari's marketing somewhere around here..

It's so limited that the service guy at the SLC dealership had never heard of the Aperta.

I was wondering the same thing. It's been what, 6 months and no new pictures..I wonder if people have seen them being built at the factory?

I was thinking the same thing earlier today...

There has been little to no interest on any of the forums, no spy pictures and no road tests.

Similar to the 612 Sessanta-- there was a small amount of hype, and then months passed, and eventually they started showing up in the wild.
