Alot of cars where I am have outfitted video cams that stick on the windscreen glass, really handy for accidents etc. Really cheap too, can get a compact HD version for about S$100 pop in a SD card and you good to go, with automatic turn on function, loop etc stick and shoot.

Dont know why the V8s dont sound good in C63...heard one with an open exhaust taking off and it was the most awful sound I ever heard, nothing remotely V8. Very loud scratchy sound.

Think u meant can't? & magistrate's compliant will take months to reach your turn. Perhaps can tell a buddy mobile squad guy to send the msg on the lookout for such an aggressive driver.

i think if 2 separate complaints made to tp even if by letter about this driver, tp might look into it or at least send warning letter, but er ..the complainants should just be careful how they describe the er ..evasive actions they took.

im not a criminal lawyer so not sure how it works with tp n regular police .for the latter ,these might be considered misdemeanours, or minor things, mere simple assault or nuisance ,so frustratingly they might not elect to prosecute , esp if the accused is possibly off his rocker . then you would have to try n do private prosecution with magistrates complaint but if its persistent, then keep reporting to police post ,they also sian ,ultimately might bring him in and issue warning at least just to get u off their back

ive seen the c63 dude absolutely demolish Orchard road several times in a manner that is beyond funny... im all for fast SAFE driving, im lucky enough to have had practice and lessons on fast safe driving in all conditions by the top drivers and marques, im more than positive this is a chap who bought the car with little experience and just uses the power as it is there with out knowledge of true power and knowing how to use it.

Get the boy reported if you can.

Wow what a small world, I just asked one of my friend's about the C63 driver mentioned and he told me he was provoked and harassed for about a minute on Orchard Boulevard about a month ago by a guy in a C63. He couldn't remember if it was dark grey or black because it was night, so might not be the same one, but certainly sounds like it. Friend was quite angry as he was only in an E and had no intent of racing, seemed like he was targeting most cars on the roads by his account

    Wah...so free ar?!:D

Hopefully it works in SG coz it doesnt in MY....and yes, such stuff is rather common in KL nite life.....but instead of exotic cars, we have mat rempits instead....

I always had the impression that when exotic cars are serviced, such as the changing the engine oil, they will flush it out totally, 'wash' and 'rinse' the previous oil out with the air pump, air hose...etc...Thus, can ownself change meh?

For work lah, u think we drive for fun....

Never seen anyone used an airhose to blow into the engine but there is a machine that does this like a dialysis machine. Most make do with just draining out, lock back nut & re-fill but of course the oil filter as well. Don't think there's any magic between a 4 cylinder or 8 engine & I used to change the oil on my bikes in my school days. We even did porting with a mini grind & carb tuning, bigger jets etc. those were fun days.

It's the proper disposal of used oil which is of concern as you can't just dump it into drains or dustbin.

I believe they use Apple IIe computer to do diagonistic so it may take quite a while!!!!

Just joking! I dont want to be banned by Ital Auto. But come'mo, no one used up to 11 hrs to do a general annual service right?

Its just kind of mind blogging to be told that they need 11 hrs of $180/hr expert labour to complete all the tasks listed.

    Lung
I have no idea as I left the car there for a week as I was out of town at the point in time. But I believe, they will take more than a day to return the car back to you. If not how to justify the 11 hrs of labour!!!

Well thats how some stealerships work, very common with American dealerships also, factory recommends a fixed service hours for each repair job, local dealers just take this and throws it at a customer.

Example: Swapping engine mounts. Manufacturer recommends pulling the engine to do the job. Local stealership just jacks the engine up and change the mounts, but still charge the cost of labor in "removing" the engine. Which is BS. I always watch my ride being serviced so they dont cut corners.
