It's actually Matt (based in Houston, no less). I'm far more likely to hump a 456 Venice. Just my thing.
You really have to be kidding. May as well leave a stack of cash in the garage with a Christmas card.
It's a good thing those guys at jalopnik didn't pick up on last week's controversy: "what's the difference between a 360 berlinetta and a coupe?" That was INTENSE!
I was so upset, I took a sawzall to one of my GTBs just to let the sun in....... Somebody call Tony and check on him, his office is WAY up in the building.......don't want anything bad to happen to him..... Get some bumper skin parts on the way, wipe the interior with Lysol.........carry on.
Okay, if that is the current damage (I think the first car was photographed "top down") then that a serious crash... But fixable.... I always advocate driving lessons for new Ferrari owners to get used to the car's handling, I hate to think we'd have to extend it to car thieves. "Wait a minute, before you leave.... I wanna show you how the back end will break loose in a heartbeat...Drive safely now, okay????." That's a shame......the damage.
I think you have had a run of bad luck with these cars. Possibly you should move up down the price scale and find one you will not rack up or have stolen...... Lots of choices abound!! Hyundai or Aston Martin come to mind.
Just read every single post on this thread...what a ride. I agree with bdelp, there are some that will ignore one side of the spectrum and only believe one side of the argument...people need to look at both sides. Very interesting thread...gotta love F-Chat! -G.B.
I'm going now, you guys up north go get your arms around Tony348, seriously..... Get out to a Strip Club, break out the wrenches and tear the car down, something to keep it going, in a positve way...... Peace.
Geez, what a story. If story is true: Tony my condoleances! If not: Tony you're a funny guy! If story is true: I hope insurance is covering the damage If not: I hope the insurance Co will b!tch-slap you bigtime. (no I'm sorry no happy ending!) Either way: great bedtime story! ;-)
Everyone seems to be ignoring the post Simon made twice now. How does Tony make the "ice ice" post complete with pictures at 11:10am and just 20 minutes later he is posting his car stolen. There is a whole lot here that just dosnt make sence. I believe there is a lot more that Tony is not telling us. Maybe he will plead the 5th soon, who knows. Tony still does not post even though he has been on line here reading for hours. One thing that I have learned over the years is, just because one owns a Ferrari does not mean a high IQ is automatic.
Possibly, but IIRC that car was completely minus the right headlight assembly after the crash. And this pic appears to be of an older 348TS. Look at the grill and front spoiler...
I didn't ignore it. Read back a few pages. If you're that curious about his mindset at the time he posted that, why don't you ask him like I did, rather than asking a bunch of Internet observers to speculate on it. Regardless of what you, me or anyone else believes to be the situation here, the IQ comment was out of line.
That is hilarious that ANYTHING going on here on Fchat is worthy of being followed on another internet forum! lol Good for Rob Lay, gotta be helping is traffic count and registered user base.
