Best post in this thread! ;)

I noticed there are a few NSXPrime members in here. Obviously we don't have answers to what happened here, but there was a story over at 'Prime a while back, where an owner had his NSX stolen in the trailer that it was being transported in. The owner was staying in a hotel for the night, and sometime during the night, someone came and unhitched the trailer and made off with the car. Things didn't quite add up, and of course drama ensued. I think it turned out to be some kind of lie/fraud, I don't remember the details.

Anyways, I'm here to be part of history. :)

I didn't fully agree with Joe Zaff when he dissed the Brotherhood, but you know, he was right...

If you can't count on family to support you (even if you are suspicious) somethings wrong. Non-support is the business of rival forums and the rest of the world.

Abandonment to the degree we've witnessed here has been the known reason some put a gun in their mouth. How would that make you feel?

This story invokes suspicion for sure but strange things do happen.

I hope this thread starts on a different tone today.

    Quote by Tony to me:
"MY CAR WAS MINT CONDITION UNTIL THIS HAPPENED. DAMN BETTER THAN YOURS WAS JERRY AND I MEAN DAMN BETTER"

Let me explain here folks. This car was my dad's, not mine. It had 59,000 miles on it and it WAS mint, regardless of mileage. My dad loved this car and when he passed away and we (siblings and I) decided to sell it, it was a hard decision, a VERY hard decision, but none of us wanted to purchase it from the estate (pay off the other siblings for it's estimated value....not to insult anyone's intelligence). I THOUGHT that I had found a good home w/ you Tony, and if you'll recall, you yourself said that it was WAY better than what I described over the phone. THEN, you posted that you took the car to Norwood's and they told you that it was the BEST looking 348 they had ever seen, regardless of mileage...shall I search the archives for proof? Now you little rat b******, you start slamming my dad's prized possession?? I'll tell you what, I am SO convinced that you wrecked that car on purpose (as well as car #2), that I am really pissed now. I am going to make it my JOB to make sure that the insurance adjusters know EVERYTHING that you have written and will go to any length to see that you are discovered for what you really are. BTW, how did those Bernie Madoff investments work out for you??

    Troy,

I agree that abandonment is bad and no one wants to feel that from those that they think are their friends.

But consider for a moment that this could be an ill-conceived plan to defraud an insurance company for something that happened as a result of his own negligence.

There have been documented instances of such things happening in the past. In regards to Tony, he himself came on here just a few months ago with photos of the first suspiciously crashed 348. Later, when the heat began to rise, the thread was completely deleted. Benefit of doubt, I’m sure, but this time it has morphed into something far more intriguing.

That is why so many here are incensed at the notion, because we all pay for that type of fraud with higher rates.

A few questions clearly remain, and they have nothing to do with butt slurping:

Why would he not post the “STOLEN CAR ALERT” in the TEXAS section where all of his friends (and the car) are??

Why would he post in 348/355 section??

Why would he post the “STOLEN CAR ALERT” just hours after posting details of his ice-capades in the TEXAS section??

Why would he post on F-chat before calling the cops?

Did he even call the cops?
-remember, the car was reportedly tagged for tow-away.

Has he filed a claim with his insurance?

    Is Jarrett an accessory??

And just who in the Hell is probable cause??

If security footage exists, it would be the responsibility of the police to obtain said footage during the course of an investigation.

This tells me a couple of things:
Maybe the cops weren’t called, or the car was not reported to be stolen.
Maybe this was a test to see if he (Tony) could get away with a “no-fault” claim with an illegitimate theft and recovery story.

This is all fun-and-games until a claim is filed, then (if there’s fraud) a felony has been committed.

Maybe our friend Tony will clear some of these questions up without any further all-caps diatribes about how we can all “slurp his butt”.
