So I was at CES this year for the unveiling of this car. This owned by my friend who is founder and owner of Monster cable. I am not to thrilled what these guys did and I think Noel Lee wasn't either. You could see the expression on his face when they showed the car. But had to smile for the camera's as they were wrapping up the epsiode of West Coast customs. I tried getting pictures on my phone, but didn't get good pictures. Here is what the car looks like. Very sad.

It is definitely interesting, I don't think I've ever really liked anything coming out of West Coast Customs though.

Could be better without the chrome looking paint, hopefully a light switch is in place....would be awesome to turn it on at night and make other car drivers look confused :)

I totally agree, they make some really tacky stuff out of what started off as cool cars.

Do we all remember what they did to that poor Murcielago? They turned an already great looking car into what looked like a bad replica.

I wanted to hate it but it looks pretty cool.

Same here... there are lots of R8s out there so why not create something different? But I'd go with a black exterior and ditch the interior treatment.

What a way to ruin an audi, those hideous blue lights could induce an epileptic seizure.

I like the lights, I don't like the chrome.

    I like it.

I think this is a very possible stylistic direction we will see in the next 5-10 years as the video game generation comes into their own.

I thought it was going to be a car that had been heavily modified and ruined. Looks like it could easily be reversed.

Yeah actually you can't drive the car with those wheels, you would have to change it out to the originals.

That could have looked cool but the chrome is totally out of place and the wheels are just lit up way too much. It should have been matte black with more EL lines on the outside. Doesn't look like they really tried to stick to the Tron concept.

Does it leave a blue laser line behind that destroys anything that smashes into it? If not what a waste.

Never thought the R8 could get uglier.
