I am late for a date because I can't stop reading this runaway thread WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So where's the McD's video??? A while back a Fchatter had the top on his 355 (?) slashed and the security video busted the person. The cops got the plate number off the video and arrested the guy. He tried to deny it, until the cops showed the video. So has the management at the McD's been contacted????? Oh by the way, I'm glad to know the car was recovered.
No kidding! BTW, Robert - do you have your car back in action yet, or are you still working on the rebuild?
I agree. I choose not to read every page and you summed it up well. Being the case that a bunch of men reacted before anything was worth responding to this showcases the bottom level of humans. Quite the opposite, and your post is a regression if anything...
Just to help after a lot of us have been doing some investigating -- Many of us believe this is correct. We believe we have located the McDonald's in question and it is possible that there are security cameras pointing at that location. He never mentioned driving his 355 past there but we also believe he does own a 355. In fact, he said he was surprised to see one in that neighborhood because it's shady. The area is shady indeed. That does not mean that Tony is involved in anything. It means that so far, Probable Cause seems not to be exaggerating the situation. The credibility of some of statements made seem to be confirmed. He could not have made this up unless it was maticulously planned in advance. His stance on what he has seen and what he has in his possession has not been shaken. Again, that is not saying one is right and one is wrong. It may just be a misunderstanding under a very intense situation of having one's car stolen. As you brought up questions that may send this thread into various confusing directions, I thought I would clarify.
Sorry but I really disagree. Someone comes forward as an eye witness to what we all agree was a tragic situation and we aren't supposted to react? That's NOT worth reacting too? If that isn't, just what is? Everything changed when the eye witness came forward contradicting some of the OP's claims. The OP could be wrong, the witness could be wrong, or both could be wrong... but its not wrong to pose questions about the validity of what either said.
Sounds like it isn't what? You think it's all a big hoax? You don't think someone's car being stolen isn't worth discussing? You think if that an eye witness shows up isn't worth questioning? Just what do you think this is? An old boys club? Tony started this in an open forum. No one asked him to. No one knew about anything but him. The eye witness was going to post he had found an abandoned car and found Tony's thread. Tony FOUND HIS CAR because of the witness's post. So, what's so wrong about that? By posting in an open forum, Tony asked for people to respond asking for help finding his car. He got just that. Just because it didn't turn out like he-- or you --- thought doesn't mean it's wrong. The witness questioned some of Tony's initial claims of what happened and Tony went ballistic. Well, too bad. If Tony had only said "Hey guys help me find my car" and the witness told him where it was, we would all be celebrating and that would be the end of it. It was Tony who was the one who gave the information of the event and the witness obviously sees it differently. If that isn't worth discussing or filled with drama, I don't know what is.
I think it's amusing to note the fellow's screen name is "probable cause." As a bit of an aside, I find it odd - but in no way accusatory - that the "finder" as of yesterday is still addressing Tony through FerrariChat, despite the Ferrari in question is inexplicably close to his workplace. I don't understand why Tony hasn't produced photos of the car yet as well. Not to prove anything, but to at least show damage. We saw the car in the snow, so why not the "fist-sized hole?" Everybody has the right to privacy, I suppose. My other problem is the fact that this car has straight-pipes and was stolen at night. The neighbors aren't what I'm thinking about here, it's driving a Ferrari with straight-pipes into a questionable part of town in the middle of the night, after having caused some type of damage to the car and already avoiding any suspicion and on top of this amazing feat, passing no police officer who would question a Ferrari in the red-light district at that hour with body damage. After reporting the theft to DPD, they arrive at the scene and do not follow up on the investigation despite having a witness with available video showing how the car got there. First of all, accessing the garage is an amazing achievement. Starting the car and driving away without waking Tony up is also an achievement. Curious if a large development filled 3-story $500K+ town-homes in Dallas has a gate at the entrance.... I only interject because it's gotten a bit quiet.. _J
I'm beginning to think this tread should be closed because all of each of these points have been covered already.
I was more or less recaping, considering I hadn't posted yet... Fact is, we're not going to understand anything, and speculation only goes so far. Since there's no head-way being made and Tony has obviously not posted, I think it's reasonable for the thread to be closed. _J
I agree. The only thing that most of the questions in the past four pages proves is that the people asking them have not read the thread at all.
um wats goin on im confused soem one explain it plz HA kidding. This is the most meme-tastic/trollololol thread of F-chat I have ever seen!!! Eye Lurves it.
This thread is the water cooler I never had. Wasted more energy than desired. Observers thinking of posting beware!!!
