    did you ever come across Alan Eaton in your travels had a sound studio in St kilda,long term family friend,old mate of mine also worked there called Michael Strethkirk.

    I started my "studio engineer" days at Alan eaton's studio when it was in Queensberry St, Melbourne. 1971. He was in partnership with "Frank Smith" and I became the house producer and engineer for a brand new record label called "HAVOC" records.
    Most popular single on that label was "Most people I know" by the Aztecs.
    So I worked for awhile with Alan. We used to record lots of jingles for advertising as well.

    I knew that he did a lot of film scores and jingles and Young talent time.
    good bloke always enjoyed his company for years went out with J Mckenna then there was this bird they called the "Jungle bunny" I'm talking in the early '80s.

    well it was a long time ago. Funny though, the car has only done 200k since then (I know...shock horror)
    It was November 2000 edition.
    My F40 came from Barry Fitzgerald and was originally owned by Nick Pongrass.
    1990. One of 3 Australian delivered cars.
    Barry's brother Bob bought the car but unfortunately died and the car was sold to me as part of the family trust.

    I have a mag that has my 512 boxer in it (ex -aircon) when it was a GOLD coloured car. ONly GOLD boxer from the factory to come to Australia.

    It looks stupid in gold. Best colours for boxers are (obviously ) RED, YELLOW and BLACK (saw a nice yellow one once)

    I've got the edition of Modern Motor magazine this car featured in...............gorgeous looking thing in Gold............



    Pity it's been painted Resale Red.........but each to his own.............


    To see any Ferrari in a colour other than red is great IMHO!

    What's wrong with a 308 in Azzuro BTW?............L.O.L
