Just one screen shot of the car in question with a time stamp would go a long way...

Meeting with the cops to take a report is no biggie. It is a misdeamenor filing a false police report. A slap on the wrist. The felony is going thru an filing the insurance claim and it turning out to be a fraudulant claim. 7 years. State jail felony.

This here is like a poker game. I've shown one card (where car is and damage) and now I'm waiting to see if the other party willing to call my bluff of my version.

If I showed pics or video, the other side could come up with a story to match. This way let them show their card by annoucing the car was stolen Sat and filing a claim for compensation based on their facts.

Its hard remembering an exageration of the truth. Ex girlfriends when I was younger can testify to that.

The car could have been stolen. My main hangup is the day/time. If I hear "Oh, well it could
have been stolen Friday night after haven driven it Friday morning." Then you question credibility as you can easily verify when you last drove a car. Especially an exotic.

    Ponder?????

Just a point of order, remember that users can set how many posts appear per page,
so page number references are usually not much use. It's best refer to post # instead,
    as that's a fixed reference.

    :)

Ok, it probablecause is insinuating that the car was not stolen but was left in the McDs parking lot by Tony .
He says that he has never met Tony. How does he know it was Tony in his nightvision videos?

If you look at the time stamps it looks like Probable went into work and posted the next day he had video of the area. In fairness to Tony he could have made it up after Tony's all caps "I DRIVE MY CAR DAILY" post. It is a cat and mouse game!

    He never said that.

What he said is that he was suspicious of the car because it was left clean when it should have been muddy, had flat tires, and was left strangely in a bad neighborhood overnight as if it was dropped off and abandoned by someone. And, he says he has video of that event.

He never said it was Tony. It may not be.

If you read his post, he says he is accusing no one, including Tony. What he does say is that the car was there on Saturday morning while Tony told everyone he drove it last on Saturday night.

The problem is that he makes nothing but veiled observations while implying misdoings.
The whole thing seems to be a bit too much of a game to him at this point.
There are some potentially serious ramifications here.

The simple thing for PC to do to continue his claims is to post a screen grab/screen shot dated AFTER Tony has claimed it was there. If it does have the time/date stamp on it then that would be easy without being incriminating to anyone. Otherwise I could claim I have video of anything, anywhere just the same. If you dont want to publicly post it then email it to someone who is a neutral third party and is on the board to verify that it does exist.

I guess I see this thread slightly turning against PC at this point and I want HIM to be able to verify his claims as well, before things turn full against him. FWIW, I would welcome PC to be a more active member on the board - especially if he has a 355 as he claims. :)
