hi it looks like front end of a bmwz3 and the rear end of alfa romeo it a mongrel looking to be a prancing horse.
I dunno. It IS ugly at first blush, but I felt the same way about the 612 and it has grown on me a bit. It isn't as bad as the Panamera, looks-wise. What bothers me most is that this car is a pure marketing exercise, engineered for a specific customer profile. Ferraris always have been (and always should be) engineering exercises with a few concessions to the realities of the marketplace. I want Ferrari to lead, not follow. In a sentence, that's the problem.
Yes. Sportcars like Porsche Lamborghini bentley,R8 etc.........but they, are not Ferrari. ferrari is Ferrari. shouldn`t have awd, like 4 doors, or to be an SUV. Why rear door??? For going to the supermarket??? Mission Acomplished! If I need a 2+2 Ferrari, i prefer 250GTE / 330 America was a 2+2 Ferrari. thrutful Ferrari not FF. Regards
Pretty disappointed with this. The California is ugly, the FF is ugly, leaves me pretty scared for the 599 replacement.
Really, really don't like it.... The curious thing is that a lot of people are still going to buy it.
Steve Jobs could release something called an iTurd, and people would buy that too. Performance of the FF might be outstanding. The design however, leaves me speechless.
That's what first came to my mind. It's a two door Porsche Bananarama with a Prancing horse badge. 612 owners must be happy though, their cars have just increased in value.
Has someone been smoking something at the design department ??? 599 looked like a copy of the Corvette Z06, and now this, a mix between BMW and Nissan Skyline...
ive realised in the past that some of Ferrari's official photography dose not give there cars justice. some of the angles they take make the cars look, well, not very nice. i think the same gose for this. the front and rear pics have been taken from a high angle looking down, and that makes the car not look good at all. may be (pics) looking at the car from ground level would make the angles of the car much better and more pleasing to look. or even so, in flesh would be a completely different experience, hopfully more pleaseing to the eye. I like the idea, it's something different for a modena ferrari. cant wait to see one in flesh.
Looks just like the Z3 coupe which was amazingly ugly and eventually discontinued. BMW tried again with the Z4 coupe and that was also discontinued. When will can makers learn from each others mistakes. Ferrari 2+2 models have never sold well and have horrible residual value (I know that doesn't matter to some people). This car will be an absolute failure. If you like it, wait a few years and get for 50% of sticker. Such a shame since I actually liked the 612.
When I saw the 612 when it was launched i was outright pissed off. I couldnt believe Ferrari did it. When I saw it in the flesh...i bought one within a week. Now I am on my second 612...and I love it more everyday...I discover new lines and I think to myself what a stroke of genius by ferrari. Everyone has their own opinions and love affairs with cars. The FF is inspiring by the video, the pics are tame and probably dont do the car justice, but I will wait to see it before I make any conclusions. I am very excited about it, because my 612 is used daily and for the exact reason its made...GT 2+2 V12 monster in a tailor made suit! Lets hope the car grows on us like the 612 did and lets hope that at the end it doesnt let the Ferrari vision become a bentley or a Benz one. We want our Fix! MJ
if everyone would live in the past we would ride mammoths today! i love the old cars, but you cant compare a sixties Ferrari with todays technology.
I saw the car for real in December and I was disappointed. The photos show the car from the best possible angle. The impression of a oversized Z3 M Coupe persist, and that is a declaration of bankruptcy for Ferrari design. Sorry, but I was so excited about a revolutionary design and I'm so disappointed as the FF reminds me from the side and back of old ugly BMW that dates back 10 years.
There are more beautiful Alfas. I would say the Brera was a good looking car by Alfa standards, the original concept was great but they had to change too many details. Compared with the FF the Brera is a great design. Maybe the Ferrari designer should take some advice in Arese
