Probably the first thread that I have seen on FChat where I couldn't read fast enough to keep up with the thread count last night as I stumbled upon it for the first time.
That's kind of an interesting detail. But still doesn't prove one thing or the other. Tony's receipt only proves his personal whereabouts, but not the car's. I'm not calling him a liar, just saying it doesn't prove his car was in the parking lot while he was buying groceries. PC, on the other hand, in one of his last posts seem to have been waiting for this moment, for Tony to throw down the gauntlet. Well PC, Tony says he was in his 348 Saturday, buying those groceries after 1pm local time. You say, his car was in that parking lot when you pulled up to work at 7AM. Evidence, gentlemen?
There is also an Auto shop behind the Majestic in Lombardy Lane that has full view of the carpark there aswell. Though doesnt look like it has any security cameras externally or decent sized viewing windows for a camera to look out of Otherwise the building next door at 2372 is around two storey and overlooks the Majestic. That is quite a large site and would fit the criteria of 15 security cameras that PC stated before. I hope PC will clear this up very shortly Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yep. Time to put up or shut up. Tony provided reasonable evidence of his whereabouts Saturday afternoon. Although I do think he is FOS regarding the WalMart video. I've seen those videos and as Ferraripilot said they definitely DO NOT have the resolution to show if the car was pristine, or not. So, probable cause--you have what you asked for.
FP, how long ago is this? Our local Walmart even has facial recognition software like the casinos. They arrested this woman not long ago and charged her with multiple counts of shoplifting ever multiple visits. They had video of every trip she made and they tracked her every move through the store. The security department was quite proud of the fact they knew she was on the property and watching her even before she entered the building. But it is a newer walmart.
I was on a jury a year ago in a Walmart shoplifting case. Newer Walmart. Inside, the cameras were awesome, as you describe. Outside, not much better than a traffic camera on your local weather station.
You could be exactly correct. The most recent footage I have viewed is nearly 2 years old. Amazing how much time passes before stuff is actually presented for some real decision making.....
almost 64000 views and this thread is only 4 days old. I recon this one could be used as a pristine example in any marketing college.....
Come on PC, the ball is now in your court. Even though Tonys' post dosnt really prove anything, he has called you out and if you dont respond soon you may have to slurp his butt. and if your lieing, I may have to join you........Please please be right!!! Ive never slurpped a mans butt before and dont want to start now!
There is one explanation that would allow PC and Tony to have told the truth: A 2nd 348 PC sees the mistery 348 parked while Tony is out shopping with his 348. Later Tony's 348 gets stolen. Meanwhile the mistery 348 takes off. The thieves then dump the real 348 at the place. Silly? You bet. As are many posts in this epic drama. Discuss.
Maybe Tonys' 1st 348 is stalking him after being mistreated and neglected. Sounds improbable but it would make a great sequel to John Carpenters' "Christine". BTW this is the next Ferrari Tony shoul buy. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Greetings guys. I'd like to first start by saying I'm not from Jalopnik. I'm an S2000 owner and this was posted on s2ki.com I'd like to say and foremost, that I'm rooting for Tony. I have no idea who he is, but it's a shame that a community is so quick burn a witch before even making it to trial. That being said, I'd like to point out something about this receipt: This offers absolutely no proof of anything at all, except good faith. Not only does it not indicate anything about the car in question but, it has ZERO time stamp. Most receipts whether at the top or bottom, have some sort of time stamp. Now I don't shop at walmart at all, but they're a fairly streamlined company... I'd imagine their receipts would host such a feature. Was this left out intentionally? Infact the only numbers on that receipt that could indicate anything of a time frame is in the mid-top-right where it reads "TR# 0106(paper folded)". If that is a time stamp, then this receipt is from a Thursday. If it's not a time stamp, then this picture holds no merit. I found it interesting that no one brought this up. Please continue on.
This thread is truly amazing. 26 posts combined between the two main characters, but almost 64000 views and over 1100 posts by 'investigators' trying to close the case. Reminds me of this : "Murder? Who said murder? Tony 348 said murder! Now we're getting somewhere, a beekeeper who's lost his voice, a cook who thinks he's a gardener and a witness to murder....."[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zOHwFr38iGE[/ame] Maybe we'd be better served if some time was spent solving these cases?- http://www.coverups.com/jfk/who.htm http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Who_killed_JonBenet_Ramsey http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/O._J._Simpson_murder_case I know I'd be more interested. This thread has run it's course, now we're dissecting a grocery receipt and posting pictures of the alleged 'crime scene'. I can't believe nobody has gone there and put the white outline tape around where the car was found!
Look again at Post# 1022. There is a time stamp of 01/15/11 13:41:55 But you're right, this proves nothing.
Are you saying the TOP of the receipt shown doesn't match the BOTTOM with the time/date of 1/15/2011 13:41:55?
My apologies, I was not registered and missed the original post. I now feel special.... in a perhaps I should trade my S, for a bus pass, helmet, and padding kinda way.
