PC said something 2 days ago regarding his feeling that his evidence should be kept secret and saved for the authorities. This is a crock of grade A dinosaur dung!

Does that mean that when a news camera crew covers a crime scene live, or CNN posts pics on their website, the possibility of legal action by or against anyone involved in the crime is ruined?? umm NO! The law says (in some legalese version) that what happens in public, and all its photographed and video evidence is public domain and a matter of public record.

The only recourse or crime PC would face, is if he photographed or video recorded something on private property that was posted as copyrighted (like video taping a movie in a theater, or a music concert or sporting event at a stadium) OR something that is illegal to photograph and then display publicly, like underage girls flashing their racks at the beach (ie GGW has to ID and get a waiver signed by any chick that may appear on one of their DVDs).

PC can show us his video or pics, and so can Tony... it will have absolutely NO effect on any insurance claim or legal action by anyone, to anyone.... PERIOD!!

    BTW, welcome home Zophie!

I have a really warm spot in my heart for the 348, God love it, but I really don't think one is going to get a live helicopter feed on CNN.. :(

    Yup.

and what's good for them, is good for you and the site.

rob, it wasn't meant as a dig towards you. It was simply a statement of fact. If you close the thread, the discussion ends. Well at least until someone else starts a new thread on the same subject. So, why not just keep it all here.

And I don't think we're TURNING on a member here. We're asking questions, and not getting a ton of answers, on a topic we didn't bring up in the first place.

If you've been a member here more than a week, you understand the implications of starting a thread like this one, especially if you have Tony's, er, history of ownership.

Hey Dave, I just noticed Taz's comment - your signature - is proving very relevant at this point. :)

I'm just calling Jalopnik "Castro" from now on.

I am in favor of leaving this thread open. Most participating in it have been polite
and humorous when they did not have real value to add about the actual story the
348 in question would like to tell. There are only so many ways to ask for additional
information when the stories are incomplete.

I have been reading all week when time permits and threads like this are what keep
FerrariChat fun and fresh. Thanks for pointing out that answers are few Dave. As has
been stated a screen grab of any of the videos bragged about would be great.

Personally from an entertainment point of view I would be amused if we found video
or pictures that made the story even more complex.

What 'flaws and inconsistencies' seem to be on PC's side again? Sure a time-stamped vid cap would blow this joint wide open, but there's no argument that he recognized the car at it's fateful final location first, right?

Honestly I'm still hung up on both 'PC' and '348Tony' using the same bastarized/as a 2nd language/preskool English i.e. "I seen the car". Heck of a co-inkidink there folks.

BTW I'm in Houston on business this week. Is it even possible to get a speeding ticket on 610? I was doing 80 tonight in a rental Nissan through some pretty twisty bits and was faster than only about 70% of the other drivers. Texas is effin nuts.

Thread's gone cold, boring, circular, and dull.... face it. Until something NEW comes along....
Just seems to be circular silliness anymore. Like the "9 CC Lambo" thread.... IcemanBops...
Mind Game 360... (rearrange as needed)... Needsaferrari.... HI Ferrari Lover, etc......

    Time to let it die....

    Just my 2 cents...

Strictly speaking Tony's Walmart receipt constitutes the new evidence needed for Jedi to renter.

And yet gone nowhere at the same time.

As far as I'm concerned without photos or video or a copy of a police report (I didn't miss these did I?) this is just a story.

Tim, you didn't miss a damn thing....just the same dribble over and over, and like others have already stated - unless Tony or Reg post some pics or video to bring this thread back to life by adding a twist, it has hit a brick wall at 90mph

I don't think "internal matter" and "internet" and "public forum" go well together...
