Driving the GTO this coming week in FL (since the weather isn't exactly spot on in MA this time of year). Heading to the keys first to see relatives, but then headed up to Daytona.

Totally flexible on routes, was thinking across through the glades, a bit of the west coast and then find an interesting route back across. Any good suggestions?

Once you leave the Keys head west to Naples. Go north to either SR 80 or SR 50. Both will take you to the east coast and you'll see a part of FL you never noticed before. If I had to choose I'd pick 80, it takes you around the southern tip of Lake O. You can cruise Lake O and drive up on the levy around Port Mayaca, then head east to 95 and go north to Daytona. There are a few good routes around Daytona particularly north of Ormond Beach around Tomoka State park. Actual curves there.

Having lived both In Boston for 10 yrs and FL for 7, the only turns you'll find are on/off ramps of Highway. If you look really hard in the country areas of FL, you'll find some roads but there few and far between...

    bella gto, best of luck

If you have any interest in seeing Sebring, it's on 27.
I saw your GTO at cavallino. What is the base, bianco fuji? Are you going to the Rolex 24?
Driving from the keys to daytona will take a while. Are you doing this in one day?
Whichever route you pick, watch out for skunkapes!

if you want, pm me as i pretty much know of all the fun roads on the west coast of the state and just did the fort myers to daytona drive through the middle of the state. much nicer of a drive then the interstates, and you pass a few of the old school rest stops and do a little bit of twisty stuff (nothing like the blue ridge pkwy but better then most of the flat roads we have around here)
