This is one of those products that words won't do justice. When I was in the process of ordering a Bendpak lift a couple months ago, I contacted Bendpak directly and asked if I could also install a jack system to my 4 post lift allowing me to lift all 4 corners of my CS? I like to lift the car for detailing the inner wheels, brakes, suspension, along with other work on the car. Lucky for me I live about 30 miles from Bendpak's HQ here in Southern California. Jeff Kritzer (Sr. VP Sales & Marketing) took a personal interest in the install. He came to my house to over see both the installation of my lift (purchased through their distributor Garage Equipment Supply www.gesusa.com) and the modifications of their popular RJ-45 rolling bridge jack, allowing it to fit the low clearance of the Stradale. Jeff is brilliant, detailed and a car enthusiast. After about 8 trips to my house and several modifications later you will see the end result below.

Two thumbs up for the ease of operation. Slide out the lift arms to hit the lifting points of the car, add compressed air and push a button. I have two jack units installed to lift the front and rear of car together. The entire car can be off the ground in about 2 minutes. Easy!

Bendpak is an amazing company. They really care about their products and their customers. The good news is now that Jeff has all the proper modifications mapped out, this jack is now dialed in for our F-Car and/or any other low clearance car. Please contact Jeff if interested in more details? [email protected]

Holy cow. That IS a clean CS.

Thanks for the post, rzundel. I've been thinking about getting a four-post like that. I currently have two Bendpaks and I love 'em.

Thanks Korr and Nizam. :) This Bendbak jack system is going to make life easy in the cleaning department. My local detailer (Jason) is also going to love me.

    Very tidy garage.

Do you operate each RJ45 independently, or can you raise them both from a single control?

I raise front and rear independently. Much safer that way.

Which Bed-Pak 4 post lift is that? I am thinking of installing a similar set-up.

It is the HD-9 (wide configuration) 117" vs. 100" W. I ordered it custom color (black).

You can buy a single jack if you're OK lifting the front and rear independently. I wanted to lift all 4 corners so I got 2 jacks. You are talking about $1250 each. Worth the money.

Does it run of of the air-feed for the lock control or independently?

Just wondering, as I already have a HD-9 and am looking at the RJ-45 when I save up some funds.

Runs off the same compressor but independent of the lock control. My compressor has two air feeds so no problem.

Here's another shot of the jack that I thought was interesting. Notice how low the jack sits in between the rails. Bendpak modified these sliders to allow them to sit about 2" lower than normal.

The lowered guides for the jack are excellent. Did they do that specifically for yours or do they all come like that now?

Can you lower the scissors on the RJ45 completely without pinching the hydraulic line feeding the cylinder?

They were modified specifically for my car but it you contact Jeff at Bendpak he can assist you with this. He knows the specs. No pinching the hydraulic line either.

just trying to put what I see in words; you have a 2 or 4 post lift but since it only raises the car up from the tires, you use a jack system and the post lift to raise the car from the body instead of from the wheels?

    correct?

so, just having the 2 jack's would do the job or would it only raise the car so high?

    Thanks,

I have a 4 post lift allowing me to park another car under the lift. That is its primary function of the lift. The jack system is added to 4 post lifts allowing you to raise the car off the ground while on the lift for wheel remove, repair, etc.

Do your photos show the bridge jack at its maximum lift? How high can you lift the car above the 4-post platforms?
