Exactly what was a new 430 Scuderia delivered with?

Can anyone who took delivery of a new 430 Scuderia tell me exactly what the car was delivered with in the way of tools, books, car covers etc? Were ther any extras like photos of the car in production etc? I have just bought one and want to make sure they hand over all the original gear with the car. TIA

 

I believe depending on the date of manufacture it may have been supplied with the VIP pack of photos of the car build. Here in the UK some cars have it and some don't, seems newer cars don't.

 

Thanks, I thought that might be the case. It is a 2008 & the dealer doesn't seem to know.

 

my 09 Scud came with car cover plus steering wheel and seat covers, battery charger,tool kit all shop and ower book manuals. radio information,spare tire sealer with air pump,plus photos of when my car was build in all stages, doen,t not come with lug wheel remover or jack or spare or depent if you order the spare tire package which I didn,t

 

My 09 16M as above but no photo's.

 

My 2008 430 came with photo's of the car being built, but '09 16M didn't have photo's. Ferrari must of made a change.......

 

I would check with your saleman the photos should of been with all the package I would demand it ,

I purchased 2 Scuderias; one early and one late in the production period. Both were equipped with VIP books.

 

Have checked, no VIP issued with my late 16m.

 

My 16m didn't come with VIP photos either. Although did get a huge alcantara box with the press kit photos

did the 2009s all come standard with the battery charger?
or was it an option?

 

Tony- Starting in 2008, all Ferraris came standard with a CTEK battery charger and receptacle for same.

My June 09 production Scud came with photo book

 

Sounds like it should have the photo book being a 2008. The salesman doesn't have a clue what they came with it seems.

 

Just saw this thread Scott, congrats on your purchase, great to hear, mine has the VIP & photos, came with seat covers, car cover, all the normal manuals, battery conditioner not charger, normal limited tool bag, tyre sealer & pump & small identical model with the vin # noted on the base.

Is your car a 2008 or 2009? I strongly suspect that the first owner is hanging on to everything but the books and spare key. Not a good idea as I made sure everything was in the sales contract and I have not settled yet.
Another 6 cars on the market, don't have to have this one.

2009 ...... I just don't get it with owners holding onto these things, they get it again when new car arrives. What colour, options etc? I saw the Tassie trip coming up, trying to fit in the long weekend off & come along, seems like a good bunch of guys going...... you will just love the car down there

Latest from the dealer is the VIP kit was "optional". I have never heard that before, does anyone know if this is true?
