Paul: whomever owns it drives it a lot because it has been prolifically imaged driving all around Melbourne in the last few years..

    Joe,

I believe this car is owned by a Chinese Australian here in Melbourne.Have heard he is a restaurant owner. I understand the car is an ex-UK, HongKong import?

The pic. posted is in Melbourne's "Chinatown" district, and I have seen the car in "Chinatown" several times over the last year or so. He uses it regularily!

    Hi,

The article i was referring to, is from an Swedish car magazine called Automobil. I can scann the article for you, just give me a couple of days to do so.

The pics of #12484 are taken by me in 1992 at Mantorp Park racetrack.

    Hi Guys,
    Melbourne is a fantastic city.
Hope your daughter is having a great time.
We just had some girls from Switzerland and Italy visiting us recently.
They absolutely fell in love with Australia and of course with the Countach.
Would love to post some pics, but i have to respect the young ladies privacy.

Not many Countach's in Melbourne possibly only a handfull or so.
This one does get around quite a bit.

Unfortunately mine is a bit of a garage queen.

Too difficult to drive around the Melbourne streets, unless you love attention and the stress.

My wife says the Countach has its own fan club.

Take it to a gas station and suddenly there is a crowd coming from all directions asking you questions as you are filling up.

Never seen a Chinese guy driving this Countach. To the best of my knowledge there are only 3 black Countachs (LP500 QV5000 type) in Melbourne. None owned by Chinese.

    Hi there
thanks for this. would be interesting to know who owns it? I thought the classic car community down there was quite close knit?

I have a QV, khamsin, Espada 328 GTS, 2x X1/9 and Fiat Barchetta. All my daughters know about cars and no.2 was quite excited to see the QV. told her to look out for other classics as had understood that Melbourne is the classic car capital of australia?

So far the QV is the only classic she has seen. No.1 daughter spotted an X1/9 in Peru last year!

    Hi Paul,

Unfortunately these old classics don't tend to get driven very often.

    Only on club days etc.

Keep an eye out in the Australian section fo FCHAT or www.aussieexotics.com for the up and coming runs or club gatherings.

The lambo guys had a 40th anniversary get together at Docklands Melbourne the year before last and it was a fantastic turn out of all the various classic and current models.

I think Chapel Street Sth Yarra will generally spot them on the weekend as the Cafe Latte set tend to gather there.

There are a couple of F40's and the Countach etc. hanging around. Just heard of another Muira coming into the country and the guy tell me that he tends to take it for a run every couple of weeks.

For me unfortunately between family and work, the cars are rarely driven. It becomes an effort to take them for a run. These are generally limited up and down the highway, just to keep them in shape and avoid the costly maintenance having them simply sitting around for extended periods.

No one will answer your question. What are you requesting?

I also have the shipment list of ct just like some other people.

What are you examining? Please stop it like the Japanese only of the request without
    disclosing any information.
