On turns, water leaks out of the AC air supply grills on the tunnel. I guess a drain is clogged . Is this a dealer only problem ?

Water leaks inside the car? :):)

Drain is blocked, anyone can unblock mate. Take it to local mechanic, a/c specialist or do it yourself. :D:D

I dont know where the drain is on your car, but its underneath somewhere. Should see a little rubber hose hanging down somewhere. :D:D

Right. Clean the bities out of that tube with a hanger or something otherwise your cockpit'll wind up a billabong.

You guys were correct. A shot of air did the trick.
    Thanks

There you go! You blew those mossies back into the evaporator! They'll be back in a jiffy.

Nah! You just broke up that clog, that's all. That's just regular maintenance of the AC condensation tube. Get into the habit of clearing all the drain tubes on your car periodically.

    Pap,

My chief resident, when I was an intern, was from Melbourne. By the end of that year, I was speaking Australian! ;)

Perhaps you can claim them on your insurance! It works that way here, every good that's in the car is treated as if it was in your home. :D

Sorry to resurrect this post. Does anyone know if the 456's is near the same place as in 308 GTB's pic's? I'm 250 miles from home and hear water sloshing and almost no water coming out when I stop. I was under there today and didn't find it, but that was before I saw the pics. Will look again tomorrow.

    Thanks......

My 456M's drain was clogged with dead bugs on a long trip and it was HUGELY expensive. Not to unclog the drain, but to replace the ECU's that got ruined. The drain is easy to find: Just look for the water dripping. You can root it with something like a long US-spec oil dipstick, but to really get everything out, you may need to take the center console apart and go at it from the top. That's what had to be done with mine. It was 100% crickets, BTW: They crawl up the drain to get to the water.

    Cheers,

    George

Thanks George. It was your experience that made me worry. Nothing inside is wet, but I'm not seeing any water coming out underneath, except a tiny drip down the side rail at about the end of the center muffler. I had the front right jacked up, so couldn't see where the drain hose came out or the origin of the water. 308's pics will probably lead me to it.

I'm in Dallas and will be driving back to Houston and would not like to duplicate your problem.

From what I'm seeing from the pics, the hose is in the passenger-side rail near the O2 sensors?

    Regards........

Found it! It's in the blank spot in the passenger's-side frame rail, just like in 308's pic's. Not obvious, since the water was running down the rail and not dripping from the hose. I still couldn't see it but flicked some crud with my fingernail and water poured out like opening the spigot on an office water cooler. Gallons?

    This forum saved my bacon......Thanks

I'm happy to see you found the drain, Mark. All these drains need periodic maintenance.
