Last I asked, dealer quoted 90k sterling which is about what OSG's dino went for as well... Only a few hundred were made and that car is sex on wheels esp with the 6 tailpipes and clamshell body. Unless the classic rules get tweaked, M'sia is a much better place to keep these cars.
Oops.. I must be the guilty one! Thanks to Tim for the location updates since the walkie was out of range.
Sounds good. Early morning weekdays or afternoon week end is better for me. Will try to get Tony, Eric. 3 458 with black tops.
Absolutely one car I must own before I die... and still relatively affordable. Nothing else comes close.
U need a nice green turf to make it work, any car park thingy will end up looking like a ST "Trying Harder" CATS event
what ever happened to Alfred's 2 blue 365 BB's .. they weren't listed when he was selling his collection?
If there are no takers here, we can do our own private run as long as weather holds. I'm sure Tim and Derek would be game.
they are listed! One's sold already. The design of this car has aged well! http://ferraricollectionforsale.com/ferrari-daytona.html http://ferraricollectionforsale.com/ferrari-daytona-lightblue.html Derek, get one of this and put it on classic plates!
Times have changed. Some have gone "legit" and decidedly upmarket. Smells like elitist attitude with all the pvt events and fences.
yes this sounds good tho im not sure about getting a visa, an early sun morn drive is really tempting!
so after a few weeks ,how does the ferrari/lambo difference in driving experince shape up ?(putting aside the differences in age/mileage and a couple of hundred thousand bucks)
Shall we make it on the 13th Sunday morning 0630 meet at ESSO? As long as the weather is good, we'll go. Any make and everyone is welcome to run. So shall we start a roll call? 1. FFC 2. Welbo 3. Derek 4. Douglas 5. Kopi 6. rabbit69
gto's a pipe dream u know what, the 250gt lusso is my all time favourite car; 23 lusso's were made in rhd!! some of you might recall, mcqueen's (chassis #4891) was my fchat avatar the last 4 years...
The GT Lusso is also my favourite iteration of the 250. And I absolutely love the colour on McQueen's one!
Wouldn't white with green rims hurt its resale even more? It could come to the point where you get lots of performance for not very much $$$?
