I'll reserve my judgement when i see the car in flash. IMO, the only modern Ferraris thats 'ugly' in my eyes are the 612 and Cali.

    This though, looks good.

Not sure where to post as there are two threads about it...but anyway here's a new pic!

    So different here.

    What do you think?

The front doesn't seem crazy aggressive as it was in the first pictures.

When did Lexus start making 650 HP, 208 MPH supercars?

The LF-A comes close, but that is more an effort of Lexus trying to play in the big leagues. Some of you guys need to really think things through before making some of these comments, you really come off as the "ready, fire, aim" type.
The general consensus seems to be that if a car is usable and mildly comfortable, then it doesn't have soul. it is my belief that usability and soul don't have to be mutually exclusive, but it appears I'm in the minority on this one. Have fun in your Mondials and 412s, although you may need to bring a trailer because all that soul won't fit in those cramped and uncomfortable interiors.

Ferrari recently has loved using very Italian names for it's cars recently...we have the 458 Italia rather than the 458 ITALY...so why "Ferrari Four" or "FF" rather than "Ferrari Quattro"
    or "fuh qu"....

after all, there was another Italian designed all-wheel-drive four seater with ample luggage space a while ago with the name "FF"...

Like I said before, the right color and the right (angle) picture will give a big difference. This is for me a lot better as the first pics (red one).

It's not only that, people just love to complain, if you say it's ugly it won't stop the production and Ferrari won't apologize to you.

It doesn't work that way, whether that is a good or bad thing is not for me to decide. I agree with you the new picture is a much better angle, even though I already like the car I'm beginning to like it more.

Either way u slice it. First reaction is pretty good gauge of how it looks... I'm just surprised people still stand behind the shield and candy coat this thing... The design neither shows any originality nor great execution IMHO.. It shares a similar confused concept as the x6... Suv without cargo space... The ff conceptually tries to do many things but fails overall in terms of cohesiveness of design.. I fear Ferrari is trying too hard to hit too wide of an audience. If it's going to be a sedan, make it look like one. If it's trying to be a GT coupe, make it look like one... It is Neither one or the other... The FF accomplishes neither well and shows it... Perhaps the FF is a precursor to the 599 replacement. But so far, it's just a confused offering by Ferrari that does not inspire nor enhance the brand in any way shape or form... Come on Ferrari, you should do much better than this....

I've bolded one of the issues with your statement. It is your opinion, and only that. It is not fact. Design is such a subjective area that it is naive to think that your opinion is gospel.
Another issue with your statement is that first reaction is a good gauge of how it looks.
What we learned with the Italia is that this isn't true. We most certainly can't get an accurate feel for this or any car based off of the crappy press release pictures that Ferrari supplies. In my experience, these overly touched up pictures make the cars look much worse than they actually are.
Once again, the majority of Fcatters are ready, fire, aim in their response.

And yes, she'd look hot in ANY Ferrari--but based on what I've read over the years, take her out of the car and sooner than you think, its one you throw back :)

I like the idea a bit better than the execution but overall I think it is cool.

Having just spent some time last week in Paul Russell's shop and looking at some of the classics, I have to agree that this car is no more or less of a Ferrari than anything else they've made....well, minus the whole 4 wheel drive thing :)

    Why not?
