Looks much better in silver I would like to see one in white one day The wheel arch gap is very tight I like that look.FF keeps growing on me
Just about to post this picture. I actually think it looks better in Silver than in Red, at least so far I do anyway.
Here's that same pic with black wheels, even more agressive looking. I love it. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think the 456 did the job pretty well (not that I'm prejudiced or anything). As I've said elsewhere, Ferrari could have saved a lot of design time by putting the big motor, larger wheels, covered headlights and a modern interior in a 456M. Anyone able to photoshop that?
i figured out where the front end styling came from. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Allan- Wonder what the wheelbase on the FF is? The 456's was 2600 mm, the 612 was a huge stretch at 2950 mm (~14" longer). The FF looks like it will have plenty of rear seat room, like the Panamera, and I think the FF's treatment of the rear is actually more attractive than the Porsche's. Both also seem to have their share of detractors for the styling, but neither will for the dynamics, I am thinking. Taz Terry Phillips
The wheelbase is stretched (haven't seen a figure) but is nearly the same length and width. Also it's 110lbs lighter than the 612
It's great to be really excited about this car. I was really nervous about the aesthetics. I think it's because I love the segment so much, I was seriously curious to see how Ferrari would top the 612. Let's face it, Ferrari had the segment from the beginning of production with the Scaglietti. This is a beautifully worked photo, with the black wheels. I think we can grow up a little and really call this car a Shooting Brake. It's far more aggressive looking and more capable than any "hatch."
Wow.. what a difference a proper flattering angle makes. Shouldve released this and the side view. Those first red preview shots left alot to be desired. I know Ferrari=Red, but releasing that car in a colour that 3% of people ordering it in didnt do it justice... Waiting for a good rear 3/4 view. Looks good in darker colours, tho the ingrid grey is nice... what the hell is everyone smoking? IMHO this design is bad news. At launch will they be serving high proof drinks to make it look better
Thanks. The darker colors look better in every respect save how they accentuate the shields. If you think them appropriate or not they just detract from the design here.
I think Blu Mirabeau is going to look fantastic on the FF. I'm also curious to see the new colors that will be released with this car
I love it. Ready to check it out in person and maybe buy one as I'm looking for a 4 seat Ferrari and the 612 is just way too out of date. Exciting times for Ferrari!
They've drunk the Emperor's Kool-Aid: Their egos are so heavily invested in Ferrari being perfect and sublime that this turd simply can't be the turd any fool would otherwise see.
1) What is the towing capacity? 2) Is the trailer electrical harness standard and/or is the towbar/ball hitch package an option?
