Wouldn't think so. Last one I saw (in the USA) was in pieces with what looked to be a pretty serious oil leak, was about to hit the auction block too. Still sold for $US880,000.

that's a long way from an LM.
and the blue BB LM is a 512 boxer , Not a testarossa.

 

I know it isn't an LM, but I'm pretty sure that's what the OP is talking about. I only posted the link as I was on the same page whilst reading this thread.

Original MILES, plus ZFFVA4OCOOO101756 = an English import.

Whilst I have nothing against a 'C' car (UK) ... I own a 575 with a 'C'. I suspect this car lived its early(?) life on UK salt roads, mine was unsalted HK roads.

This car would have gone through AUS compliancing (post '89) so check for a compliance plate.

As for 'original' miles it would have had the speedo changed from miles to Kms. so maybe a recent import??

101756 is an amazing car. No rust from its time overseas, owned by ss, a totally over the top anally retentive money no object owner with a level of detail in the engine bay possibly better than a new one. Go for it!

The originally white/cream now red/black F512M is 105308 that carpet muncher is referring to. I have included a pic of that before the colour change to red.

Not many RHD F512M around, well under a 100 worldwide.

Be careful buying a 512M here. This car was actually repaired and is getting around the roads today. It isn't any of the cars above I should mention.

Yup. One door has a shutline gap of about an inch and the other door has a gap of zero......to the extent that both the door and the 1/4 panel have no paint where they meet. Ugly. Very, very ugly !!

 

And the chassis number is...........well, it's obvious when you see it how bad it looks!

 

would it get a RWC?

 

Should it get one? No. Could it get one? Yes.

As Carl says, when you see the car it is pretty obvious it has had a big one followed by a less than perfect repair.
