2011 Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona ****Spoilers****

Well, the classic "twice around the clock" race is upon us! I always look forward to this race, as it marks the start of a racing season (at least to me).

Three 430 Challenge cars are on the entry list; any Fchatters participating this year?

I feel the same way - finally some racing to watch.

 

Great to see racing start!!! Unfortunatly I'll be up racing at Roebling same weekend (Pair of 7 hour races) You would think our little car race coulda been a week earlier or something!!! I know a week later wouldn't work with scca driver's school.

 

Is it this weekend or next weekend? Guess I need to call and upgrade my cable so I can get SPEED once again.

Yep, on track at VIR with a client Saturday, but it's great to watch on TV!

Looking forward to seeing a safe and successful race for my friends and colleagues in CTSCC and the Rolex 24.

Especially to Mike Davidson and Mike Skeen in the yellow #56 Bennett Racing F430C.

It is funny to me that a Dodge Viper website is sponsoring a Porsche GT3

 

458 will be in the ALMS this season but not Grand Am, AFAIK.

 

Thanks and hopefully by mid-season we could suddenly see one appear, wishful thinking on my part.

 

I'm excited to finally get some racing on again! Thanks for the links. I'll be working during most of the race, but will catch up on the recording when I get home. I may be able to get a stream through my phone, so hopefully I can catch some while sitting in the car.
