I still receive hampers/cakes on birthdays & CNY etc. They also have a CNY dinner mid of next month & I haven't stepped into their showroom for probably a year or more but still keep in contact with Mel & Andy. The bonus is probably because I bought the cars from them & not "outside".

If you're an owner, please register yourself with the office gals behind the counter in the showroom & I'm sure you'll receive updates as well.

It isn't. But note that things/life has to be spiced up in order for that book to sell. The public always thinks that we earn more and get laid more often than we really do.. If only they knew the truth, Vinesh wouldn't even have bothered flying :D!

    Damn,

and I was about to ask you guys if I could join you guys for your drives now that I have bought me a Lotus.

Wanna buy a Ferrari but am still hoping for the 458 Spyder to be released before I jump into one. And also, I am more broke lately compared to a kid's smashed piggy bank.

    Darn!

no problem but as a biased true red tifosi, ferrari v lotus is no contest.with the same budget or a little more , u shld stretch for the ferrari- regardless of model , an occasion to drive everytime (that it starts), much lower depreciation, much easier to resell n oh u can drive to ecc ,focs events,:)all can!

Anyone here had an Exige S1 or similar before? Been offered one (Jap engine) but I really don't know anything about it except that everyone says it's a great handling car.

The only exotic profile that I can think of was that V8 version with wing. Almost a Diablo look-a-like :)

I am buying a Ferrari eventually. I am a true Ferrari lover. Always remember the days when I had a Magnum PI 308 hung on my wall when I was a kid.

But just wanna hold out for abit to see whats on the market, whats coming up, and also looking forward to having more in depth chats with you guys about living with a Ferrari.

Thats why I joined this forum in the first place.

Buying the Lotus is just something I had to do as I was a Pretty Woman fan when it was offered to me. hahaha. Lame, but who cares eh?

Jon, the Exige is a really fun car to drive. No electronic nonsense, just pure unadulterated driving pleasure. And if it has a "jap" engine (read: K20), it will add to the fun...lots. Just need to get used to ingress/egress.

I assume the car in question is up north coz there aren't that many remaining here...there was one yellow with a K20 and a whole lot more but sadly it caught fire.

Trust me, the 348 is a PITA. Most of us who had it wished it left as quickly as we bought it! It's one of the cheapest ticket to Ferrari though & I still have some parts left of it. Only a couple of mechanics here know how to align the gearbox cable linkage which tends to shift on it's own, resulting in a unique experience! aka broken gearbox. It needs a lot of TLC to be well sorted.

Get a 308/328 for cheaper end classic, even the Mondial since mechanics are the same but i think 430 is becoming good value soon.

Please post some pics of your S4.
