Miura, the original supercar

I haven't been following this topic for a year or so, but thought I'd post this in case it wasn't mentioned. I ran into this on ebay by accident. It also made it into the February 2011 edition of Thoroughbred & Classic cars. Let's hope the next owner takes better care of it.

Except the wheels I cannot see another Miura part... I strongly doubt the history about a cut Miura chassis.

 

That's absolutely perfect. That would be my ideal Miura colour combination. I hope the new owner enjoys it in good health.

I don't believe your question was answered. Those pictures come from a japanese magazine called Genroq. I have scans of it if someone is interested.

Wow, I've never seen a Miura with that much lean to it before. Looks like stiffer springs are in order!

 

Talking about leaning, this is me "racing" my #4067 in 2004.

Im new to the forum and stumbled on some pictures i took early one morning in Piccadilly -London last year.

They are of OPW 8F ... possibly the first RHD Miura made i've read.

Great stuff! Never seen a Peugeot Miura before; is it a diesel?

 

I've seen that car at a few shows over the years and talked to the owner. He sold it years ago and I don't know who owns it now and haven't seen it since.
