Overall I think Ferrari is losing it. The 458 is the only fantastic looking car since the Enzo.
430 and 360 were good but not great looking.
The rest are pretty cars but not Earth shattering. And I'm pretty sur that is by design to appeal to a richer/older/more discreet/less flashy clientele.

But that's a departure from the seventies and eighties and perhaps a return to the fifties and sixties.

Cool cars are made by smaller shops these days: Lambo, Zonda, Lotus, Spyker to name a few

That said the FF is ugly. Cars don't grow on me over time. If anything I loose interest but I never start to like one I didn't at first sight. And yes I still think the 612 looks like a bloated whale.

Yes, but a rather literal view (as in, stating the bleedin' obvious!). I think the poster you're replying to is taking a slightly more 'spiritual' view.

The exterior perhaps but the interior still is a bit Buck Rogers.

Please don't be ignorant when it comes to one photograph of this woman. Maybe it's the lack of exposure to Women, or general lack of knowledge people have but I am sure after you sat in, or drove her you would see how well she can execute being beautiful.

LOL The FF is ugly. Plain and simple. It doesn't take knowledge or exposure to exotic cars to know this just read a book written for 8 year olds: The Emperor's New Clothes by Hans Christian. Just because it’s a Ferrari doesn’t make a car beautiful. We can't slap a Ferrari badge on the fat girl and make her beautiful nor can we the FF.

    Like the Mitsubishi Evo.

Killed a Murcie on TopGear UK but still "fell through the ugly tree and hit every branch of it on the way down" as described in TopGear US.

With the Evo the looks aren't as important as it is a bargain compared to the FF and it doesn't want to be a Ferrari.

    Plain and simple ?

You must be the Emperor of design. I guess those of us who like the FF should change our opinions to match your factual view of the subjective.

Oh, great, here we go again.

A few pages into the thread and you start attacking all the posters who disagree with you.

    "Bud?" Who the he11's he?

And if it wasn't an attack, then what was it?

I get so sick of all this crap - from Anunaki and many others - "You disagree with me, so you're wrong!" / "Well, you must be the Arbiter of Design."/ "I know you are, but what am I?"

Once we veer from expressing our relative opinions and begin calling each other names - i.e., "The Emperor of Design" or some such nonsense - then we're attacking other posters. Mr. A. has done it in nearly every thread lately; he just can't bear to let someone else have a different opinion. He has to give them a label to show just how stupid is anyone who doesn't think as he does.

I am so sick of every discussion of F-Chat turning into a pi$$ing contest lately.

And my name is Bradley. That's my real name. And you can call me that. . . Bud.

You have the option to get the mods' attention by clicking on the alert triangle in the upper right hand corner of a post.

While I'm not a mod in this forum I have to say Anunaki's comment IMHO is a personal attack. Not a strong one, that doesn't necessarily need much intervention but annoying and unnecessary nonetheless.

Lets remember all that this forum is not P&R where personal attacks can go much further than in the rest of FChat. Outside of P&R calling somebody a name is not appreciated.

I often enjoy Anunaki's posts and often share his opinion, so I don't have an axe to grind here. But I completely disagree with his opinion regarding the FF. In my opinion it is fugly. Plain and simple.

Think you've got it backwards. Jerry was calling you out for being absolute and arbitrary. The fact that you don't see that kind of proves his point.

IMO, the FF haters have been stating their opinion as though it is fact. Many of the posts come off as though you'd have to be a simpleton or a fool to like the FF. Jerry's post was pointing out that no matter how strong someones opinion may be about a car, it is just an opinion as people have varied tastes.
