Cody is tough as nails. He got clipped good many times, and just kept going. Unfortunately, having a great guillotine will only get you so far.

You have to wonder how far Mitrione can go. I never gave him much credit, but he surprises me every time he fights. Now I am starting to think he may actually be legit.

I think Cody is pretty tough; and remember, he trains pretty much on his own. If he gets with a good camp and gets good instruction, I think he can get pretty good.

Mitrione... Man, I hated that guy on TUF. And he still comes accross as a tool... but he is getting really good! The HW with NFL experience seem to be pretty explosive (Schaube, Mitrione, Lesnar) and have a built in toughness.

I'd like to know happened to Mike Brown? He was a WEC champ and now he can't even win a fight anymore. WTF? The UFC axe is gonna fall on his neck before too long.

In his post fight press conference he calls Dana and Joe--Mr. Silva and Mr. White---Was pretty funny---I think he will get a top tier fighter next to see what he can do. I really like Meathead....

I think a good test for Mitrione would be against Kongo.

Does anyone on here know how the "email newsletter" pre-sale tickets are purchased? Do you just put your email in on the Ticketmaster page??

Anyone coming to Seattle for Fight Night 26??

Meathead mentioned Kongo or Barry as a good next test for him... I think he is much better than Pat Barry, Kongo woud be a great test for him....

With the way he's looked of late, I'd take Meathead over Kongo.

Just read that Mike Brown won't be cut despite losing 3 of his last 4. Hard to believe he was one of the best FW's not too long ago.

Was an entertaining card, but boy, it was over quickly. What was the total broadcast......1 1/2 hours?

It's a shame that Diaz will never truly be tested, at least for as long as he stays in SF. SF has nowhere near the talent level that the UFC has.

Roger Gracie was impressive. I look forward to seeing him fight again.

I am surprised Dana hasn't gone back after Nick to get him to come back to the UFC. Seems all his previous personal issues are in the past....

I totally disagree. I think there is nobody better that can (maybe) beat GSP. Don't get me wrong, I cant stand the guy, But you've been watching him TOY with all his opponents. Don't forget he's BJJ. All these fights could be finish VERY early, but he choses to bang and see instead of taking them down and tapping them out as quick as he did with a BJJ Black Belt in Cyborg.

I think Nick is a great fighter, and would do very well in the UFC. But beating GSP is a different story. The level of opponent he has currently, not being in the UFC, is mostly guys who are outside of the top 10. That doesn't mean he can't compete there, it just means is unable to prove it. As far as the tools he has, I would say they are comparable to BJ Penn, as far as having great boxing skills, and great BJJ, but this has not proven to be enough to beat GSP. I have to imagine Diaz has longer reach than Penn, which would help his cause. Now there's a fight I'd love to see........Diaz/Penn! Who takes it?

I read something pretty recently were Dana said he likes Nick and would like him in the UFC, but Nick "just won't play by the rules" or something like that.

    Pick 'em!

    UFC 126: Silva vs. Belfort
    Date: Feb 05, 2011
    Location: Las Vegas, Nevada
    Venue: Mandalay Bay Events Center
Broadcast: Pay-per-view, Spike TV and Facebook

    MAIN CARD (Pay-per-view)

    * Champ Anderson Silva vs. Vitor Belfort (for middleweight title) Love him or hate him, he's still arguably the greatest of all time. Belfort is still unproven at this weight.
    * Forrest Griffin vs. Rich Franklin Rich is just a more talented fighter.
    * Jake Ellenberger vs. Carlos Eduardo Rocha
    * Ryan Bader vs. Jon Jones Hard to pick against Jones, although Bader should prove to be one tough opponent. Bader needs to get him down quickly if he is to have any chance.
    * Antonio Banuelos vs. Miguel Torres I'm a big fan of Torres. I think he has a chance at getting back to the very top.

    PRELIMINARY CARD (Spike TV)

    * Paul Kelly vs. Donald Cerrone Love "The Cowboy"....very skilled fighter. He should be a force in the UFC.
    * Chad Mendes vs. Michihiro Omigawa

    PRELIMINARY CARD (Facebook)

    * Demetrious Johnson vs. Norifumi "Kid" Yamamoto Kid is a great fighter.

    PRELIMINARY CARD (Untelevised)

    * Gabe Ruediger vs. Paul Taylor I am not a fan of Gabe's. Happened watching him on TUF.
    * Kyle Kingsbury vs. Ricardo Romero
    * Mike Pierce vs. Kenny Robertson
