She will be here in the morning, but let it be said now that the RB7 and MB W02 will look nearly identical.

    Highly exciting stuff !

And the 2012 cars from the rest of the field will look exactly like these cars...

There will be in 4-5 hours. They are taking the wraps off just before Valencia testing at 8:40am followed by I believe Force India at 9am and then Mercedes at 9:20am.

yes, the rear is very tight and contoured very well. Their nose is very F150ish. A few changes here and there. The Rb6 was already an epic car. No reason to reinvent the wheel

RB has a good thing going, I wonder how fast it will be when full of fuel. Vettel was out at the end of the day doing some heavy load laps which is pretty much what MB and a few others have been doing all day.

Looks the same as last year's car. Notice that they're the only team that launched the car with that hideous shark fin...

The Brawn GP car was an epic car so Merc didn't change it much the year after and look what happen then. The Ferrari F2004 was a good car and look what happen the year after.

    Excellent point.

Look what happened to Ferrari in 91... Prost nearly (and should have) won the WDC in 90 w/ the 641, and since it was so competitive very little was changed and they were blown away in 91...

I don't see Newey falling into that complacency since he's been in the game so long that he knows not to rest on his laurels.

But, as they say, every season is a chance to throw all of the cards in the air.

Unfortunately, as we have seen, the big teams will always have the money and staff to chase down and reduce/eliminate any performance discrepancies to the front-runners.

The smaller teams do not have the resources to continuously develop the car at the same rate as the mega-teams. This is what happened w/Brawn. They stole a march on the rest of the field w/the innovative DD, but the major teams were able to catch up to them over the course of the season and they were hanging on by season's end...

The RB5 was a better car by the end of 2009 than the BGP 001. The RB6 was an evolution of the RB5 and look what it did.

Also, Brawn did not develop the 2010 car because he didn't have the budget.
