anybody replace there 360 pump with the new 430 pump? If so, how did you do the electrical connection? I see on the new pump the connection is different. Also you guys are saying that its a smaller relay, I was told its a 50 amp relay.
Any help on this would be GREAT!!!!

I HAVE A NEW STYLE PUMP I AM WILLING TO LET GO OF IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED...PM ME. SO FAR THEY HAVE SHOWN TO BE VERY RELIABLE...NO FAILURES YET!!!

 

The major problem with the old type Marelli F1 pump is the electric motor made by Denso for Magneti Marelli. Actually Denso bought the electric motor business from Marelli, which became Denso-Marelli, but the motor did not get more reliable... Now, there are two other Italian electric motor manufacturers, that supply electric motors to Magneti Marelli for F1 pumps used on other European cars.
One example of the new type F1 pump electric motor is shown in pictures below. I have swaped this electric motor on the F1 pump in my own 360 Spider and it works just fine.

I'm not in the market for one of these replacements, but you guys who have done it should document part numbers for the replacements to keep a record of it so someone in the future (like me) can find it and benefit from the collective experience.

Is this the new 50 amp relay and can you precise the install is correct for F360?

 

All depends which year is your car. If your 360F1 is 1999-2002(3) then you can not install the 50A relay (red relay in pictures below) which is for the 2003 and later models, because it has only 4 prongs, which are larger (wider) than the older model 5-prong F1 relays (gray relay in picutres below).

Sorry with the delay in answering your question (I was traveling in Europe).

For clarification, I have purchased not the whole F1 pump, but only a new electric motor for Ferrari 360 and Maserati F1 hydraulic pump (for Ferrari part #213264) from the original Italian manufacturer (OEM), which supplies it to Magneti Marelli where the whole pump is assembled.

Because I have a 2001 model 360 F1, I had this F1 electric motor replaced as a preventive measure, before the old electric motor will fail (which is very typical). The aluminum pump head is virtually indestructible and does not need to be replaced as frequently. Moreover, this new electric motor is much more reliable than the old model, according to the Italian manufacturer.
